Recruiting never sleeps. Even when coaches aren't allowed out on the road, calls and texts are being exchanged and visits are being taken. [player_tooltip player_id='1189096' first='Jalil' last='Bethea'] is the top uncommitted player in PA. He's down to Villanova, Kansas, Miami, Alabama, and Syracuse. After him, there are scores of prospects in the state whose recruitments people know less about. So other than Bethea, here are the 10 best available prospects:

[player_tooltip player_id='1123885' first='Nick' last='Coval'] | 6'1 G Parkland + [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL

Coval is one of the most covered prospects amongst mid-major schools in the Mid-Atlantic. He received offers from St. Joe's, American, and Bucknell in the spring, then Holy Cross, Fordham, St. Bonaventure, Richmond, Towson, Vermont, Hofstra, Davidson, and Northeastern in June. During that same time frame, he took an official visit to Lehigh and unofficials to Bucknell, Delaware, and SJU. More officials are sure to be on the way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589152' first='Macon' last='Emory'] | 6'8 W Perkiomen + We R1 UAA

Since the end of April, Emory received offers from Delaware, Bucknell, Albany, Penn, Lafayette, LIU, FGCU, Robert Morris, William & Mary, Mount St. Mary's, Longwood, Binghamton, and Lehigh. Jumbo, athletic wings who can shoot from deep and make things happen on defense are extremely valuable. He has official visits set to Penn, FGCU, W&M, and Delaware. He's also heard from TCU, SMU, and UCSB recently.

[player_tooltip player_id='1281777' first='Greg' last='Guidinger'] | 6'7 W Central York + [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] UAA

Guidinger saw his recruitment spike at the end of his sophomore season. He then received offers this winter from Marshall, Lafayette, and Mount St. Mary's, during a junior campaign that got him league POY and 2nd-team all state. Despite being a knockdown shooter with positional versatility on the Under Armour circuit, things have been relatively quiet since. Showing how/where he impacts the defense and that he can do more in a bigger offensive role could be pivotal for G.

[player_tooltip player_id='933048' first='Tristen' last='Guillouette'] | 6'9 C St. Joe's Prep + NJ Scholars EYBL

The Jersey-native had a bog June. He received offers from North Carolina A&T, St. Bonaventure, Towson, and Fairfield while tearing up Philly Live. His ability to rebound, carve out space on the block to score, and alter shots while playing entire games was impressive. If he can build on that over the course of his senior season, he should achieve similar results in his recruiting process.

[player_tooltip player_id='1279636' first='Bahsil' last='Laster'] | 6'5 G ANC + NJ Scholars EYBL

In early July, Laster got an offer from Rhode Island, his first since arriving at ANC. Then, a few weeks later, NJIT extended him a scholarship as well. A key to his recruitment will be demonstrating whether or not he can be a primary initiator. He spent most of his high school career as a wing or off-ball guard. But the ANC staff and their tough schedule will give him ample opportunities to show and prove.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589269' first='Nyle' last='Ralph-Beyer'] | 6'4 G West Chester Henderson + [program_tooltip program_id='2078678' first='East' last='Coast Power'] HGSL

The standout performances that Ralph-Beyer put together over the summer were continuations of what he did as a junior. Nevertheless, Sacred Heart, Rider, Mount St. Mary's, North Carolina A&T, Hampton, and Stonehill decided to throw their names in the hat to land his services. With high expectations on him and his team heading into the winter, he'll be a priority recruit for other colleges to see in-person.

[player_tooltip player_id='1483181' first='Josh' last='Reed'] | 6'3 G Archbishop Wood + Philly Revolution HGSL

Reed has always been a physical guard who gets after it on defense. But this summer, in grassroots and with the Vikings, he figured things out on the offensive end. So much so that Quinnipiac, Buffalo, Iona, North Carolina A&T, Manhattan, Fairfield, Merrimack, LaSalle, Drexel, and Stony Brook all acknowledged it with scholarship offers. He already took unofficial visits to Drexel, Iona, and LaSalle. Official visits should be coming down the pipe.

[player_tooltip player_id='1123886' first='Amir' last='Williams'] | 6'6 W Neumann-Goretti + NJ Scholars EYBL

"MirWill" went into the summer with a few offers and left with several more. His NJ Scholars team played well on the EYBL circuit. He progressed as a closeout attack, in addition to his defense and developing jumpshot. So Towson, Delaware St, NJIT, Buffalo, and Hofstra felt that was enough to offer him. He hasn't taken any visits, but will change soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='991421' first='Ryan' last='Williams'] | 6'3 G Malvern Prep + [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] UAA

Since he stepped onto the floor as a sophomore, Williams has been a consistent competitor. He improved his game bit-by-bit in the summers with [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'], from 15U to 17U, and it paid off. In July, he received offers from Hofstra, Iona, Stony Brook, Northeastern, Columbia, and Binghamton (Aug. 1). Now, he's ready to commit. On August 14, his mom's birthday, he'll decide between Fairfield, Iona, and Columbia.

Nasseem Wright | 6'6 W Math, Civics, & Sciences

To the uninitiated, Wright came out of nowhere as a junior, earning all-Pub honors. Hampton knew what they saw when they offered him in January. Although he was quiet on the grassroots front, he turned up during the June HS Live Period and at other events with MCS. His ability to attack off-the-catch and play in the gap defensively at his size will always be in demand. Fans and college coaches should keep tabs on during the 2023-24 season.
