Summer is flying by as the last weekend of July is coming up. Prospects are looking to end the month on a high note, especially in the frontcourt. Here are the under the radar forward prospects to watch this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1456836' first='Terrance' last='Wood'], 6'6 PF Union Catholic 2024

Wood has the potential to have a big weekend with his ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor. The 6'6 forward is good in the pick-and-pop game as he sets good screens in the halfcourt and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. Wood uses his body well to get position down low and is capable of finishing through contact. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Wood is a gritty forward prospect who should have a strong weekend with his ability to score inside and out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1981565' first='Wes' last='Shirk'], 6'5 PF Hunterdon Central 2025

Shirk is a frontcourt prospect to watch this weekend as he should put up solid numbers. The 6'5 forward is comfortable on the perimeter as he has a good release on his jumper and can knock down open jumpers from distance. Shirk has a strong frame, which he uses to get position down low on both ends. He can finish around the basket and works hard on the glass. Shirk's ability to stretch the floor is something that will help his stock in a big way this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1456844' first='Jalen' last='Fleming'], 6'4 SF Timothy Christian 2025

Fleming is poised for a big weekend as he should light up the scoreboard. The 6'4 wing is at his best attacking the basket as he finishes strong around the rim and is unafraid of contact. Fleming is able to get to his spot on the floor and can score in the mid-range. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is a strong rebounder. Fleming will be one to watch this weekend as he should make plays throughout the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1273913' first='Jordan' last='Taylor'], 6'6 PF St. Peter's Prep 2024

Taylor holds down the interior for the Marauders, which should help him this weekend. The 6'6 forward has a strong frame, which he uses to get position down low and finish around the basket. Taylor sets strong screens in the halfcourt and has an underrated handle. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Taylor is a physical forward prospect whose ability to control the paint will help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107654' first='Hashim' last='Nadir'], 6'4 F Linden 2024

Nadir's versatility is something that will help him nicely over the weekend. The 6'4 forward has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. Nadir has a soft touch on his mid-range jumper as he makes opponents pay for giving him space. He works hard on the glass at both ends of the floor and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Nadir has the opportunity to have a big weekend with his ability to make an impact at both ends of the floor.
