His ability to contest shots and immediately sprint down the court proved to be a key factor to putting pressure on his opponents with easy scoring opportunities for himself and his team, especially early in games.
6-foot3-inch Nate White stood out as a big guard who comes downhill with an extremely powerful attack, even at his size he was capable of keeping a low center of gravity while penetrating at the hip of his defenders. White’s combination of size, strength, and body control allowed him to drive to the basket effectively. His strength made it seem easy for him to finish through traffic and multiple defenders. White displayed terrific versatility, excelling both as a guard and a forward. When it came to setting screens, Nate presence was like running into a brick wall. Defenders stood no chance running through or even around the picks he set on most occasions.
Highlights
Colten Dillingham
Colten Dillingham
Colten Dillingham, a high motor player who had a great impact on the game. He went after every 50/50 ball whether it was on the ground or in the air. This prospect displayed a pure knack for consistently positioning himself in the right spots on offense, whether it be cutting, slipping to the basket, popping out, or crashing the glass for rebounds, all while showing a solid basketball IQ and a tireless work ethic. By constantly staying active without the ball, Colten was able to keep the defense honest and produce openings for his team. Dillingham’s offensive rebounding and desire to grab every board created countless second-chance scoring chances for Enid Elite. Dillingham was as hot as ever, scoring in bunches from all three levels. Impeccably fluid jumpshot, smooth transition from catching the ball to shooting with no wasted motions. As his confidence grew, his shots fell more and more, and his shooting range expanded. Dillingham’s ability to score efficiently and effectively was remarkable.
Kaleb Bickel
Kaleb Bickel
6’6″ forward, Kabel Bickel showed off a noteworthy combination of footwork and length. Bickel had a great way of spinning around a defender to get to his spots within the lane. Once he was inside Bickel was quick off his feet to finish above the defense with floaters and push shots.
Mykel Fields
Mykel Fields
Mykel Fields showcased his relentless competitiveness on both the perimeter and under the basket defensively. His quick and active hands assisted him greatly when crowding space and disrupting his opponents by poking the ball loose. On the offensive end, Fields proved to be a skilled finisher with both his right and left hand. His ability to decelerate and switch hands in mid-flight not only drew fouls but also made it challenging for defenders to block his shots directly or from behind.
