After breaking down some of the top performers in each position, it’s time to look at some impressive rising stars in each position that made a name for themselves. Today, we will begin looking at some intriguing upcoming juniors in the point guard position. Without any further ado, here’s my list of some talented 2024 point guards in Tennessee to watch out for next season.

, a 6-foot-1 point guard at Morristown East High School. Cloninger made his presence known on both sides of the floor for the Hurricanes during his junior stint of high school basketball last year. In addition to outstanding size and speed, what stands out about Cloninger is his well-rounded playstyle and selfless decision-making as he consistently fed the ball to teammates with open looks. Another aspect of his game that impressed was his physicality and ability to beat defenders to rebounds. Cloninger will definitely be a high-level point guard prospect in the Volunteer State to keep an eye on this upcoming season.

, a 6-foot-1 point guard at Pope John Paul II High School. Bailey made a considerable impact for the Knights during his junior season of high school basketball last year. Bailey caught my attention due to his explosive speed and physicality on both sides as well as his consistent scoring. Another aspect of Bailey that impresses is his control and composure at the top of the key. After showcasing his talent on the court last year, the rising senior out of Hendersonville, TN. should certainly be an intriguing talent to watch for next season.

, a 6-foot-1 point guard at Antioch High School. Bodenhamer was a highly versatile and explosive weapon on the Bears’ roster during his junior stint of high school basketball last year. With excellent size, speed and athleticism, Bodenhamer impressed me with his ability to muscle his way to the rim, blast past defenders in the paint and sink long-range threes. The rising senior out of Antioch, TN. is without question a talented point guard prospects in the state of Tennessee and is worth watching out for on the court next season.

Herron impresses me with his wide array of skills, showcasing outstanding size, speed and physicality at the top of the key, using his solid ball control and pin-point accurate shooting to quickly overwhelm the opposition. The rising senior out of Memphis, TN. is an impressive point guard and should not be slept on as he begins his senior campaign later this year.

In addition to solid size, speed and athleticism, what makes Robison so dangerous on the court is his footwork, his ability to maneuver the court, his adaptability to pressure and his nearly unstoppable speed in the paint. After proving himself last season, the rising senior out of Chattanooga, TN. is definitely one of the more athletic point guard prospects in the state to watch for this upcoming season.
