If we get things started in Region 1 there might be a toss up with a lot of these teams inserting new players into the mix. This region will be a competitive one and we are thinking that there will be no team that will go undefeated in Region play. Weber has been down the past few years even though they have talent but this year is the year of the Hunter and Weber has a good one in Hunter Schenck Hunter Schenck 6'2" | PG Weber | 2024 State UT and look for him to be among the top scorers in the state. He will have some players looking to add to the scoring in Malachi Spencer Malachi Spencer 6'7" | CG Weber | 2024 State UT . Syracuse has a new head coach and if they can continue to build as they have Syracuse will be competitive. Tarik Hamblin will be one of the players with experience coming back. Stay tuned.
Davis might be one of the favorites along with Layton and Fremont but do not discount Farmington, they will be hungry. Paul Beattie Paul Beattie 6'9" | PF Farmington | 2024 State UT might be a handful to deal with as will Nick Harris Nick Harris 6'0" | PG Farmington | 2025 State UT and Jayden Haskell Jayden Haskell 6'3" | CG Farmington | 2024 State UT .
Davis has a duo that will be tough in Coleman Atwater Coleman Atwater 6'3" | PG Davis | 2025 State UT and Ike Fisher. This outside and inside duo will be tough. Fremont will have another Hunter in Hunter Hansen Hunter Hansen 6'4" | PG Fremont | 2024 State UT who is very talented and should be healthy and ready to roll.
We move on to Region 2 which is an upgraded version of Region 3 last year. Corner Canyon will move to a new region and they will have a target on their back for sure as they will be led by Brody Kozlowski Brody Kozlowski 6'8" | SF Corner Canyon | 2024 State #103 Nation UT and Taylor Feroah Taylor Feroah 6'7" | SG Corner Canyon | 2024 State UT and a few new names and faces. Bingham will be tough as they are every year and they will be lead by Jason Peterson Jason Peterson 6'4" | CG Bingham | 2025 State UT and Luke West Luke West 6'2" | SG Bingham | 2026 State UT but look out for Rykan Meadows Rykan Meadows 6'9" | C Bingham | 2024 State UT . Copper Hills is building something new and they return a sharp PG in Isaiah Reiser Isaiah Reiser 5'10" | PG Copper Hills | 2026 State UT who was solid his freshman year.

Then you add Cale Barclay Cale Barclay 6'8" | PF Herriman | 2025 State UT and Carlo Mulford Carlo Mulford 6'0" | PG Herriman | 2026 State UT , this team is tough on paper. Riverton will be scrappy and have some height to battle anyone. Kaden Allred Kaden Allred 5'11" | PG Riverton | 2024 State UT and Zach Edward will have a team loaded with hard playing guards.
Mountain Ridge could turn the corner this year and they will need a lot from Spencer Krainich Spencer Krainich 6'5" | CG Mountain Ridge | 2024 State UT , this kid can go.
American Fork will be tuff-tuff as they have a little bit of everything and they will have depth once again. Tiger Cuff Tiger Cuff 6'4" | CG American Fork | 2024 State UT and Blake Rawson Blake Rawson 6'8" | PF American Fork | 2024 State UT have had a big time Spring and Summer and look to hit the ground running during the high school season. Lone Peak has a duo that will be a nice combo in Chamberlain Burgess Chamberlain Burgess 6'9" | PF Lone Peak | 2025 State #214 Nation UT and Ike Staley Ike Staley 6'6" | SG Lone Peak | 2025 State UT . Ike can shoot the ball and he is more athletic than he gets credit. Chamberlain is starting to really pop as his game is taking the next step in his development.

Pleasant Grove will be somewhat of a mystery but they usually have a solid squad. Looking forward to what they have coming back.
