Fola Fayemi – Denard Bros
Fola is an energy guy that plays with a lot of pop. He made a living off blocking shots off the backboards. Fola gets off his feet very quickly and surprises guys with how explosive he is around the rim. Another strong part of his game is how well he finishes in transition. Fayemi has amazing acrobatic layups and dunks that can change the pace of games in an instant.
Mark Stein- Great Lakes Warriorz 2024
Stein is a 6’4 slashing wing that scored well on the move. He is a versatile player who also made a few three-pointers. In a very close matchup with The Work Foundation Mark finished with 15 points and a handful of rebounds.
Cale Cosme Cale Cosme 5'7" | PG Brother Rice | 2024 State IL – ET21 Buckeyes 2024
Cosme is always exciting to watch as he consistently gets in the lane and creates plays for his teammates. If the defender stays home Cale scores with ease. One of his biggest attributes is how well he makes shots from deep. Teams have to cover him as soon as he crosses the half-court. Cosme is always a fantastic player to watch.
Brandon Watson Brandon Watson 5'9" | PG Evanston | 2024 State IL – GPA 2024
Watson is one of the toughest guards in the event this weekend. He impacts the game in so many ways at his size. At 5’9 Brandon is a pest on defense picking up guys full-court causing ball handlers to make mistakes. On offense Watson made plays for others before he looked to score himself. He made a pair of corner threes and drove to the rim for some high-arching layups. Brandon is a competitor who looks to make winning plays every time he’s on the court.
Degan Jensen – Just A Game 2024
Jensen looked sharp scoring off cuts and dives to the rim for buckets. At 6’5 Degan scored within the flow of the game using solid footwork and focus on scoring through contact. Jensen had numerous and-1 fouls which helped him lead all scorers with 23 points and ultimately a win.
DJ Strong DJ Strong 5'9" | PG Bolingbrook | 2024 State IL – Flight Athletics
I watched DJ have a breakout game against Denard Bros. He is super quick in the open court getting countless layups when the defense is in retreat mode. As the game slowed down DJ made a couple of three-pointers to keep the game close. He finished with 21 points and several assists.
Demarion Coleman – DTM
Coleman had a solid game on Sunday getting in the lane and scoring well from the mid-range with jump shots and floaters. Demarion is a slashing guard who scores well with either hand and does a good job at getting fouled whenever he gets paint touches. Even in a tough loss Coleman played very hard and finished with 20 points.
Ryan Mbouombouo- Denard Bros
Ryan is a guard who uses his agility very well in games. He does a good job at rebounding on the offensive glass, with his quick reflexes and quick second jump. Ryan is also good at attacking downhill scoring tough layups over taller players.
