Jakye Rainey Jakye Rainey 6'0" | PG Nichols | 2024 State NY – Corey Graham Elite: He was undoubtedly the best scorer of the weekend. He combined for a total of 23 three-pointers in the last three games of the tournament. Sunday morning, he was all over the place. He hit a ton of three’s and knocked down big shots from all over the floor. I also really like his defensive abilities, as he cemented through with a pair of blocks in that Sunday morning contest. He helped Corey Graham go 3-1 on the weekend with their only loss coming in triple OT.
Tristian Ford Tristian Ford 6'2" | PG Chi-Prep | 2025 State #158 Nation IL – Mac Irvin Fire: It had been a while since I watched Ford play. This summer, he’s taken his game to a new level. He looks faster, stronger, and more confident than I’ve seen him before. He was big as a ball-handler in Mac Irvin’s two games as he created countless scoring chances for both himself and the guys around him. Had a big block defensively to help beat Wisconsin Playground too.
Amari Allen – Wisconsin Playground: There’s so much to love about the IMG product. He started off both contests Saturday with a bang. Creating scoring chances off the dribble and finding plenty of consistency from all three levels. He made big plays on both ends throughout each game and is a true impact player.
Jacob Rice Jacob Rice 6'4" | SG Western Reserve Acadmey | 2025 OH – Chicago Hoops: This is undoubtedly the best I’ve seen Jacob Rice Jacob Rice 6'4" | SG Western Reserve Acadmey | 2025 OH play. He had a big game Sunday morning as he scored 25 points to beat All-In. Later that day, he scored 14 points to help take down PEAK (AZ). What impresses me most about Jacob Rice Jacob Rice 6'4" | SG Western Reserve Acadmey | 2025 OH is his strength and three-level scoring abilities. He was more than deserving of making the First Team.
Mike Jones Mike Jones 6'7" | PF Chi-Prep | 2025 State #164 Nation IL – Mac Irvin Fire: If there was a 16U MVP Trophy, it’d undoubtedly go to Mike Jones Mike Jones 6'7" | PF Chi-Prep | 2025 State #164 Nation IL . He was big defensively in their first game. Controlling the paint and grabbing all the boards. Offensively, he was productive from all three levels in both contests. He even made the game-winning assist to beat Wisconsin Playground. There’s so much Mike Jones Mike Jones 6'7" | PF Chi-Prep | 2025 State #164 Nation IL has to offer as a prospect and could move up big in the Illinois 2025 rankings.
