Here were some of the top newcomers or incoming freshmen I viewed:
Del Jones Del Jones 6'2" | PG AZ Compass Prep | 2024 CA-S AZ Compass Prep
A powerful lead guard can distribute the ball, get into the lane to score and hit the jumper. He has good speed, plus size, a tight handle, he can defend and score from all levels.
Landon Jones Landon Jones 6'3" | SG Ironwood | 2026 State AZ Ironwood
A long and lean shooting guard will catch and shoot with the best of them. He will rattle in triples one by one with a super quick release. He has the runner and he looks to impact the Eagles immediately.
Davion Hannah Davion Hannah 6'5" | SF Nicolet | 2025 State #33 Nation WI AZ Compass Prep
A windy talented long wing forward who transferred in from Wisconsin. He can throw it down way above the rim and shoot the three. He can pull-up and uses his thickness to score in the lane. He will help their NIBC team ASAP.
Javon Bardwell Javon Bardwell 6'4" | SG Desert Mountain | 2027 State AZ Desert Mountain
A long incoming freshman can score and defend. He gives the Wolves, along with his twin brother, Jabron Bardwell Jabron Bardwell 6'1" | CG Desert Mountain | 2027 State AZ , some much need length and scoring punch. He can hit the catch three and talks all game long on the defensive end. He is a shot maker who competes at a high level on defense with his unreal length to play the passing lanes.
Delton Prescott III Delton Prescott III 5'11" | PG Sunnyslope | 2027 State AZ Sunnyslope (Pictured)
A dynamic point guard with incredible speed. He is a great passer and the ball is on a string for him. His body control in the air is next level stuff with his stronger upper body and toughness. He moves without the ball and cuts for open scores. He has elite ball fakes and will rise up from mid-range.
Sabien Cain Sabien Cain 6'2" | CG Millennium | 2024 State AZ Millennium
A thicker combo guard can get downhill to the basket to score thru contact or will whip a pass to a teammate off of a live dribble. He can hit the three, pull-up and get out in transition. He is an early newcomer of 5A candidate for the AIA season.
Sammie Yeanay Sammie Yeanay 6'7" | PF AZ Compass Prep | 2024 State #98 Nation AZ AZ Compass Prep
A transfer from The Rock/FL is a beast. He has a mans body and will try to break the rim down as he dunks it so hard. He runs the floor well, blocks shots in his area and rebounds everything near him. He impressively has some touch with his game to hit the three off the catch.
Marcus Wilson Marcus Wilson 6'2" | PG Bella Vista Prep | 2024 NM Bella Vista Prep
A talented guard from New Mexico. He is a scoring lead guard that is a natural three level scorer. He can shoot the three, fall-away from his defender and plays fast on the break. He is athletic who makes plays and shots. He verbally committed early to Washington State.
