SubscribeCheck out who made our All-Tournament Team in the National Championship! Tough Decision but these 5 make all the right plays for their team to win ball games and do it on consecutive bases.
Connor Gain- Connor stands out to be on the All-Tournament Team because of his ability to do it all. He has the height and length to defend multiple positions night in and night out. On the offensive end, he has the skill set to play multiple positions because he’s so versatile. He can bring the ball up, shoot the 3, rebound, finish at the rim and most importantly he can play off the ball.
Kaeden Lewis- When you watch CyFair Elite you will quickly find Lewis on the court. He is small but wears his heart on his sleeve and plays with a lot of passion. Every possession he is looking to make a play on the ball. From stripping the basketball from the bigs posting up or looking to score, you can’t forget about him because he’s always doing something.
Yuxuan Gu- Gu has a lot of poise, plays at a great pace, is extremely talented, and has a good head on his shoulders. There were multiple times when the opposing team would clap in his face, talk trash to him, and push him around but it didn’t phase him at all. He laughed at them and kept playing ball. Most players would take the opportunity to play “hero ball” but Gu kept making the right plays to seal the deal on their games giving CyFair consecutive victories.
Jahrrend Arnold- Arnold playing up has been really good weekend after weekend with being a leader and true PG. It’s not always about scoring with him but making the right plays and he does a good job of showing his IQ when his team needs it the most. Being undersized he knows how to change his pace, use his first step and draw the defense in to create open opportunities for everyone else.
Cody Yeager- The big man knows his role for CyFair Elite which wins a ton of games. He doesn’t get mad when he doesn’t score or get the ball but plays his role as the interior protector. From blocking shots, rebounding, and playing sound defense, he is a key piece to CyFair’s success. He usually guards bigger post players and he plays without fouling.
