It’s now time to present our All-Tournament teams for the 15U-17U age groups. Here is are 16U All-Tournament Team.
Garrett James Garrett James 6'3" | SG Port Huron | 2025 State MI – The 6-2 shooting guard is a plus shooter who plays a variety of roles at a high level. He plays with a ton of confidence and isn’t afraid to let it fly from 3-point distance. He has scored 20+ points in all three games so far here at the Passion Region Finals. His defensive display has also improved throughout the summer where he has been balanced and his ability to guard on the ball continues to get better. Expect college coaches to be on James’ radar soon as he gears up for his junior season.
Cameron Cottingham Cameron Cottingham 6'0" | SG Santa Fe | 2026 FL – The 6-2 combo guard played with a ton of confidence this weekend for Filling The Lane as he was getting to his spots and wasn’t afraid of scoring against bigger defenders. Cottingham plays with great pace and has a high IQ. Really excited about where he is leading up to his sophomore season.
Blake Stuba- The 6-1 rising sophomore point guard was one of the best shooters I saw on Sunday as he can stroke it from beyond the arc knocking down three 3-pointers in a win over Filling The Lane. His pure passing ability has also improved over the course of the summer and is poised to have a impact for a youthful backcourt at East Lake this upcoming season.
Dior Evans- The 5-10 rising junior guard is an elite playmaker as well as a decision maker. Evans’ high IQ while running the primary point guard position for SWFL Hoops this weekend was what stood out to me as he can impact the game in a variety of ways. Evans also displayed a dangerous jump shot off the bounce that he was making at a consistent rate. He defends all 94 feet of the basketball court at a high level as well where he was averaging nearly three-four steals per game.
Kaleb Nobles- The 6-0 rising junior guard has huge upside and is only continuing to get better as the summer went on. Nobles is a true threat to score on all three levels where he was off the bounce or on the attack. Nobles has a great pace and high IQ to his game.
Dorian Starks- The 5-8 guard is crafty when he had the basketball in his hands as well as fooling defenses on whether he was going to shoot or pass the basketball. His speed and ability to make plays happen was what impressed me the most this past weekend at the Passion Region Finals. Really excited to see where Starks is at from his progression with two high school seasons still to play.
