Point Guards:

Christian Andrews Christian Andrews 5'11" | PG Dorman | 2024 State SC

Andrews was suiting up with a new team here during the NCAA Live Period. He was playing with Upward Stars Carolina – Charlotte, NC based squad. Christian came off the bench on here today. Christian certainly brings intensity to the floor and effort each time. He’s at his best as a table setter and directing offense. Andrews really looks to bring it on the defensive end of the floor and has no problems really bringing ball pressure 94 feet at times.

DJ Harvey DJ Harvey 5'10" | PG Christ Church | 2024 State SC

Harvey is at his best when he directs traffic and sets the tone for his squad. DJ is a WINNER and his teams win games period. This past weekend the Upward Stars Harvey squad finished the weekend (6-1). DJ won a Class 1A State Championship this past season at Christ Church HS in the Upstate.

Travis Stickney Travis Stickney 6'1" | PG Oceanside Collegiate | 2024 State SC

Stickney has no problems getting the ball to the cup and switching hands while he does it. Travis really likes to work his left-hand into the rotation if it’s for finishing at the bucket or delivering a pass. Travis who attends Oceanside Collegiate Academy runs with the Charleston Raptors here on the Grassroots Circuit.

Travis really plays to the ball and brings constant hustle to the floor at all times. He really values winning games.

Combo Guards:

Damon Howey Damon Howey 6'0" | CG Camden | 2024 State SC

Howey shares the backcourt here with a talented group on Upward Stars Pee Dee. Damon will be playing over the bridge this season at Camden HS after playing at Lugoff-Elgin HS his whole career. Damon is more geared for scoring the ball at seems at times most comfortable off the ball.

Jamarie Brown Jamarie Brown 6'3" | PG South Florence | 2024 State SC

Brown plays the game with a lot of swagger and confidence at times. Jamarie really shows moments of breaking out and having a big weekend at times. He really has good length and court vision from out top to make plays. Jamarie can drop score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor and at times looks effortlessly in doing just that. Brown who attends South Florence HS runs with Upward Stars Pee Dee.

Sincere Rasul Sincere Rasul 6'0" | CG Indian Land | 2024 State SC

Rasul had a big season and looks to be a certain Stock-Riser in the next 2024 UPDATED Palmetto State Rankings. Sincere who came from the Hoop State played this past season at Indian Land HS in Lancaster. He really does a good job of using his body and fighting off defenders on the way to the rack.

Sincere will get the ball into the lane when he is not picking up a steal on the defensive end of the court. He did connect on a few open jumpers today from the perimeter. The athletic guard runs with Upward Stars Carolinas.

Blue-Collar Team – Effort Guys:

TJ Stanley TJ Stanley 6'3" | PF North Myrtle Beach | 2024 State SC

Stanley plays down on the Grand Strand at North Myrtle Beach HS. TJ is a brute inside the paint at times and really understands on how to deliver results. He works for everything thrown in his direction. TJ an undersized guy carries a nice frame to him and really likes to use it at times. He can get the ball downhill from the top of the key with a few dribbles. TJ runs with Horry Select and Head Coach Alvin Green.

Kj Stephens Kj Stephens 6'3" | PF Byrnes | 2024 State SC

Stephens will be very instrumental in the plans this season for Byrnes HS moving forward. KJ a left-handed undersized post understands his role on the floor and takes pride in doing it. Stephens is physical “JYD – AKA Junk Yard Dog”

Stephens isn’t flashy at all but, he understands on what needs to be done. KJ will look to box out and rebound the ball down low while absorbing plenty of contact along the way. He runs with the FCA Eagles an Upstate based squad.

Isaac Allen Isaac Allen 6'3" | SF Clover | 2024 State SC

Allen runs with Team Hustle a team consisted of Clover HS. Allen came to the Palmetto State a year ago from Las Vegas, NV. Isaac plays extremely on the floor at all times. He brings the HUSTLE for sure and a willingness to defend. He will take a charge and sacrifice his body on the defensive end of the court. He seems to play his best basketball going to the cup in attack mode or stalking the baseline.
