SubscribeGames are all about matchups and these players give their team the edge with their ability to defend, rebound and score from inside and out. When you have a lot of 5 out basketball its imperative that you have players that can run the wing or be a post presence for you inside. Check out how these versatile players impact their teams.
Traiden Alford (THQ)- The lefty for THQ shows a ton of consistency in his game that grabs a lot of attention from everyone watching. Just a few minutes after me watching him play I witnessed 2 back to back and one using his off-hand which was very impressive and very much a game changer.
Jared Van Donselaar (Kessler Heat)- Jared the 6’4″ with a long wingspan put his size on full display in Kansas City at the Hyvee Arena. His size plays a factor but what became a game-changer was the high-low action they kept running to him. His footwork on the low block with his ability to have good hands to catch the ball and finish was the difference maker.
Bo Womack (Arnold Elite)- Bo is constantly growing his frame and stretching the floor every game he’s a part of. His ability to knock down the 3 when his man leaves have done wonders for Arnold Elite that is loaded. Looking at him you wouldn’t put him on the scouting report but after seeing him play you will know right away he’s a game-changer with all of the plays he makes.
Cody Yeager (CyFair Elite)- Cody provides that interior presence for his CyFair elite team against bigger opponents. Cody coming in with decent height and a good frame on him is the ultimate game-changer because he’s able to rebound when his team needs it most. He’s also a good rim protector contesting shots at the rim.
Vander Himmonds (Arnold Elite)- Vander has been flirting with a double-double all weekend for this loaded Arnold Elite team. He averages bout 9 points and 8 rebounds and at the wing spot, he’s lethal. Himmonds is a gamechanger because he’s able to get on the wing or bang inside the paint. Anytime you can add 10 points and 10 rebounds to your team you have the advantage already!
