Continue ReadingWhen you watch Korbin play you can’t help but to notice the passion and energy he plays with. He wears his heart on his sleeve and as a basketball fan you have to love that. Gunn has so much explosiveness when he’s driving play his defenders and finishes so well in the paint. Korbin changes the game because once he draws you in to his finishes, he is a great passer to the point he can dump it off at the last second in mid air for his teammate to score a easy 2 points.
Highlights
Jamarri is a silent killer. He can score a quick and easy 15-20 points in a heart beat if you don’t pay attention from inside the paint, mid range pull up or his 3 point jumper he’s been using a lot lately. Adding that 3 point jumper has been such a lethal weapon because now you don’t know what he’s going to do. Simpson is an elite finisher and alert of that is due to his finishing off of 2 feet ability splitting the defense if he sees 2 people.

Bowen, the 6’8 big man imposes his will and completely changes the game for teams because of presence on the defensive end. its so hard to score on his team because if he’s in the paint he knows how to block shot without fouling and his wingspan covers extra ground. Ethan not only block shot but he keeps it in play to allow his team a transition finish at the other end. Offensively he’s been tough to guard on the perimeter because he’s been hitting a few shots forcing the other bigs to come outside the paint. As he develops expect his stock to grow.
Derek Stokes
Derek Stokes
Stokes has the perfect body frame to play at the next level. He’s strong, has a smooth game and is extremely coachable. We all know he’s a good finisher at the rim and sees the floor well but if he hits a 3 pointer it’s pretty much over. His Wolfpack team really feeds off of his energy and unselfish plays. Derek has great pace and plays so smooth, he doesn’t get sped up or slowed down.
Letavious Murphy
Letavious Murphy
Murphy got what he wanted whenever he wanted to at the grind region finals. He is extremely strong and uses that to his full advantage by attacking the rim forcing you to foul him even then he’s converting a and one. When Murphy is getting down hill theres not much you can do besides hope he misses or foul early. In the half court set he isn’t afraid to knock down the 3 pointer which forces you to guard one or the other.
