#8 Boogie as most know him has not yet committed. But with all the offers it is no surprise. This poised highly skilled competitive pg can take over games many different ways. He can weave or accelerate is way to the rim. Dishing off a pass or converting himself. Has deep range . Developed a nice pull up mid range game. Competes on the defensive end just as hard as he does with the ball in his hands. Most of the schools SEC, Big 10, Big East and Big 12 have all extended serious offers. Of those they are all the top tier of the conference. A major talent.
#9 Ian comes in at #9 with the colors of the Tar Heels proudly displayed. Committed early to play for North Carolina. An explosive athletic wing. Outstanding in transition. Super quick with the ball getting to the rim. Has excellent foot work in transition with euro steps and other creative ways to finish. Can drain the three which has become an important piece to his game. Teams were playing off of him early in his HS career so through hard work he now makes them pay by draining threes.
52 Adam was new to the CHSAA but quickly became one of the top players. He will be playing at Washington State. Extremely quick and athletic. A creative finisher around the rim off the bounce. Excellent in transition can go N-S or change speed and direction quickly. Really good passer off of drives or just basic half courts sets.
Highlights
#88 The future Iowa State Cyclone looks like a man against boys at times during games. He can do many things to impact a game. Has really good size that could make him a match up problem in the big 12. Strong to the rim but at the same time possesses excellent body control. A stud that should have an immediate impact for the Cyclones.
#90. He will be a Syracuse Orangeman having signed with them during his Junior season. Syracuse likes those three point shooter with Coach Boeheim I’m sure that Coach Autry will make sure that stays as a staple of the players he recruits as well. Starting with Elijah. Unlimited range. He has a quick release with a very fluid repeatable motion. Excellent off the catch. His feet and hands are set ready to pull the trigger. High basketball IQ and a great instincts. Coach Lods from Cardinal Hayes feels he his the best shooter he has coached in over 20 years.
133 Matt is a little bit of a surprise on this list ahead of some of his new teammates. But make no mistake he is a talented well deserving player. Transferred to LUHI from Pennsylvania he will now be playing for LUHI in the NIBC. Playing against the best of the best in the nation. Matt is the new breed 6”10 player. Versatile and a deadly shooter from three. But he also possesses excellent footwork in the post. Has a nice pump fake finish or can put it on the floor off of that. Straight up defender, uses his size to man the paint.
