Gilliand is the definition of an athletic guard. His freak athleticism allows him to attack the rim with a vengeance and finish at will. His dunks are highlight-reel worthy and his confidence and poise make him a threat every time he touches the ball. Gilliland has found success in one of the toughest places to play high school basketball and has generated lots of Division 1 interest from all over the country. It’ll be entertaining anytime he sets foot on the floor with an ABC jersey on, as he’ll bring a spark and energy to this team that will make them fun to watch.
Kayden Meadows Kayden Meadows 6'7" | PF ABC Prep | 2024 State NM – Cincinnati, OH – 6’8″ – Forward
Meadows is a textbook stretch 4, a well-built fundamentally sound player who can not only be physical down low but can attack off the perimeter and utilize his frame to create space. His shooting stroke is pure for someone of his size, and his versatility will prove ultra-valuable to this ABC squad. Meadows fits the archetype of a physical power forward, though he could be considered slightly undersized for his position, he plays larger than his height while having the ability to defend players smaller than him.
Amari Brown – Atlanta, GA – 6’2″ – Guard
A native of New Mexico and the son of a former University of New Mexico player, Brown has made a name for himself in the state of Georgia playing for Sandy Creek High School and dominating at all levels of high school ball. He’s garnered interest from a number of Division 1 schools with his play and will bring a level of physicality and paint presence to the ABC squad. He has impressive touch around the basket, giving him the option to shoot the floater over larger defenders as well as draw them out of position to attack the basket.
Brandon Mason Jr Brandon Mason Jr 6'3" | SG ABC Prep | 2027 State NM . – Albuquerque, NM – 6’3″ – Guard
Mason’s stock has risen exponentially as he’s played this tournament season. The Class of 2027 combo guard has generated lots of buzz around his name for his performances and holds 4 Division 1 offers as of now, though it’s almost inevitable that he earns more. Mason can attack from anywhere on the floor and can play inside-out, getting to the basket at will and shooting the lights out with seemingly unlimited range. He’s only getting better and will continue to grow as he plays for ABC.
Mike Knaub – Albuquerque, NM – 6’6″ – Guard/Forward
Knaub has played with ABC’s Spotlight team for a while, but his importance to this ABC squad cannot be understated. He has the height, size, and IQ to play the 2, 3, or 4, and is extremely versatile. Knaub can score from anywhere on the floor and can match up physically with anyone. His ability to guard any position and play any position cannot be understated. Knaub has built a reputation as a force in New Mexico basketball, and will now be able to put his game on national notice.
Micah Munoz Micah Munoz 6'3" | PF Albuquerque Prep | 2024 State NM – Albuquerque, NM – 6’5″ – Forward
A defensive powerhouse, Munoz provides a level of defensive IQ that is unique for a high school prospect and is invaluable to any team. His off-ball instincts and physicality make for a versatile forward who can guard any position and has showcased this ability on every stage of high school basketball. Munoz has solidified himself as the defensive anchor of this ABC squad and as the vocal leader and spark plug off the bench. He’s a fun player to watch and adds a different level of play to any team.
