Ryder Williams Ryder Williams 6'3" | SG Versailles | 2024 State MO (Versailles): The 6’2″ 2024 guard was the most impressive perimeter shooter at the showcase; and there were many of them. But none had the range of this lefty bomber who was dropping them in from out to 30 feet on a regular basis. When he hit the first one, he was going on a roll and several more followed. He also complimented his shooting with some good straight line drives to the basket. He also had some nice drop offs for assists off of his dribble penetration.
*****
Owen Vaught (Crane): A 5’8″ 2026 guard who is an impressive shooter from 3-point range. When he gets the time and space, he will let fly with his high arching shot that hits the bottom of the net. He’s constantly moving and doing his work to get open and ready to shoot the ball when he catches it. He has a good feel for the game and is usually in the right position to keep the floor spaced properly.
******
Kendric Johnson Kendric Johnson 5'10" | PG Jefferson City | 2025 State MO (Jefferson City): The 5’9″ 2025 point guard has good quickness and a nice feel for the game. He made good use of his speed to beat defenders off the dribble in the half court offense and to push the tempo in the open court. He could also change speeds well and directions to keep them off balance. He has an effective pull up jumper in the lane to go along with 3-point shooting range.
******
Isaac Willoughby (Lawson): A 5’10” 2025 guard who has a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range and a quick release to go along with it. He also rebounds well from the guard position. On defense, he has a set of quick hands, which he used to pick pockets and also get strips from opposing post players on his digs inside to provide help.
******
Paydon Owens (Raymore-Peculiar): A 6’1″ 2025 guard who has good athleticism and an array of crafty moves to score around the basket. He can attack on the drive, plus he has a nice spin move and good footwork to operate in tight spaces in the lane. He can go either left or right with equal effectiveness. He also moves well without the ball to read defenses and get himself open.
******
Camren Hillen (Helias): A 6’5″ 2025 forward who is a rock solid performer who enjoys the physical play around the basket. He had some tough finishes inside on post ups through contact. He battles for rebounding position and did a good job on the boards. He is also a willing screener who does a good job of getting his teammates open.
