Eric Shaw Eric Shaw 6'3" | SG Maplewood | 2024 State MO (Maplewood): The 6’3″ 2024 guard is a terrific all-purpose player who was getting things done everywhere on the court. He uses his strength and athleticism to dominate opposing guards around the basket as a scorer and offensive rebounder. He has a quick second jump inside to beat everyone to the boards. His perimeter skills are also very good attacked downhill on the dribble for buckets while also pulling up to hit the mid-range jumper. He was also good in the transition game as he threw down numerous dunks on the break.

Barron Duda (Webb City): The 6’3″ 2024 guard is a good-sized wing who displayed his versatile offensive repertoire during the showcase. In the first game I watched him, he spent much of the first half around the paint as he displayed a nice shooting touch around the basket. As the game went on, he ventured to his comfort zone on the perimeter and started unleashing jumpers from out to 25 feet that were touching the bottom of the net. He was excellent off the catch and he could also create a bucket off the dribble as he could use his handles and physical strength to his advantage.
******
Colin DeBold (Seckman): The 6’4″ 2024 point guard was excellent offensively with his combination of playmaking and scoring skills. He was able to use his height to see over defenders and his court vision and passing is of the elite variety. He moves his long, agile body at a nice easy pace and he doesn’t let himself get sped up. He stays in control, even when he’s playing at a faster tempo. He is also a three-level scorer with shooting range that extends well past the 3-point line. He also used his length well on the defensive end to get steals and deflections.
******
Caleb Cox (Canton): A 6’0″ 2024 guard who has a thick build at 195 pounds and he knows how to use his physical strength to his advantage. If he had a smaller guard on him, he would take him down into the low post and work out. He was also a solid ball handler who could knock down open 3-pointers off the catch. He was also a strong rebounder from the guard position.
******
Rowen Buffington Rowen Buffington 6'2" | PG Jefferson City | 2026 State MO (Jefferson City): A 6’2″ 2026 point guard from nearby Jefferson City who was one of the top young prospects at the camp. He has very good size for a point guard and a high basketball IQ to go along with it. He plays with very good pace as he is very adept at getting the rebound and going coast to coast for a layup. He can drop off the nice dime to an open teammate or knock down the 3-pointer from distance.
******
Alex Mattson (Jefferson): A 6’1″ 2024 combo guard who was very impressive in all facets of the game. He had a nice variety of offensive skills and he also played with a little flair in his game. He could beat defenders with a straight-line dribble to the basket or he can rock them with a stop-and-go move to keep them off balance. He scored very well in the lane and he could also pass the ball. He had a few very nice no-look dimes that led to buckets for teammates.
******
Brice Budd Brice Budd 5'9" | SG Nevada R5 | 2024 MO (Nevada): A 5’9″ 2024 guard who played with an impressive motor, especially on the defensive end has he had several deflections. He worked hard to pick up opposing ball handlers and make them work. He was also very good about hustling for loose balls. On the offensive end, he was shooting the ball well from 3-point range as he used good off the ball movement to get himself open.
