Mason Gutierrez
Mason Gutierrez
I like how Gutierrez worked. The big man is a bit of a plodder but was a more than willing rim runner. He was one of the best Glass Cleaners I saw grabbing a ton of rebounds. The lefty also showed off some skill, pushing the ball up the court after securing the board, proving to be a more than adequate grab and go guy.

JJ Schaeffer
JJ Schaeffer
Schaefer was one of the tallest players on the court, however he’s probably closer to a hybrid forward type. He did a lot of his damage when facing the basket, using good slashing skills and a quick 1st step to get into the paint. For a player of his size he had a nice float game when he got into the lane.

Caden Johnson
Caden Johnson
Johnson is an intriguing prospect complete with length and some physical tools. The long armed incoming 8th grader had one of the quickest 2nd jumps I saw on the day, using it to create 2nd and 3rd chance opportunities for his team with his rebounding.

Mike Mcintre
Mike Mcintre
Mcintre looks like he’s just scratching the surface of his potential. The baby faced, Uber long forward already posseses a signature skill. He was the best rim protector I saw during the event, completely erasing interior attempts as well as showing agility and range to block shots on the perimeter.

Kingston Fanaika
Kingston Fanaika
Fanaika was an impact player for a GG squad that made a semifinal run. He played with terrific effort, getting extra possessions for his squad. The class of 2028 forward used his size to battle and win in traffic boards, and provided a solid interior presence for the team.

Daniel Gallardo
Daniel Gallardo
I didn’t get an exact height on Gallardo, but he’s a big strong kid. While his frame is good, his most impressive muscle was his brain, as he played with terrific defensive instincts. The active forward did a good job of anticipating passes, showing good timing while jumping passing lanes to get steals. He did most of his offensive damage around the rim, bulling his way to the basket for power layups on more than one occassion.
