T.J. Adams T.J. Adams 6'2" | CG Marquette | 2024 State WI – G – Marquette
Adams has had a really terrific spring and summer for Chapman Basketball Academy , bolstering a program that already features a handful of highly ranked prospects. Whichever school lands Adams is getting one of the best shooters in the state. Adams plays with supreme confidence, has takeover ability offensively, and can make things happen on and off the ball.
Grady Geiger Grady Geiger 6'6" | PF Brillion | 2024 State WI – PF – Brillion
Geiger provides excellent value as a 6-foot-6 forward that can score with his back to the basket. He plays with excellent patience and footwork down low and also has terrific hands to catch in traffic. Really like Geiger’s ability to get forwards off their feet and create three-point play opportunities. Also mobile and able to play away from the rim a bit, Geiger averaged 12 points per game for Brillion’s state championship squad while playing next to a Division 1 prospect.
Avery Houden Avery Houden 6'5" | SF Middleton | 2024 State WI – SG – Middleton
One of the better athletes in the state, Houden’s leaping ability alone will get him some college looks. At 6-foot-4, Houden can really attack the rim and block shots. Not going to get this type of explosive ability from the guard spot at the D3/NAIA level very often. In the spring, thought Houden looked more skilled than in year’s past and was able to score in the halfcourt a little more consistently.
Sean Ladwig Sean Ladwig 6'4" | SG Catholic Memorial | 2024 State WI – SG – Catholic Memorial
Now that Catholic Memorial’s roster has cleared out, think you could see Ladwig make a nice jump as a senior. Ladwig has strong positional size at 6-foot-4, he’s a two-way player, and can also play pretty much anywhere on the wing. Saw him act as a shotmaker for MTXE Premier this spring, an extra ball handler, and a swingman. He shoots it well from all areas of the floor, particularly in the mid-range, and as previously mentioned, buys in and does his job defensively.
Really good positional size at 6-foot-3 and the ability to handle either guard spot. Schwarzenberger put up big numbers as a junior, averaging 23 points and six rebounds per game. A hand-down-man-down sniper, Schwarzenberger can knock down shots without a ton of space. If you give him an inch, Schwarzenberger can let it fly and knock down 3’s, even off-balance. Think his outside shooting prowess would at the very least create some terrific spacing and open up driving lanes. When he’s on the floor, defenders have to stay attached and abandon their positional help defense.
James Seagreaves James Seagreaves 6'5" | SF Monroe | 2024 State WI – SF – Monroe
Kind of see Seagreaves as either undersized power forward or a slashing small forward. At 6-5, Seagreaves is a strong, athletic prospect that started to really show some flashes during his junior season. Considering his older brother’s measurables, Seagreaves will also likely be a developmental prospect that should get better and better at the next level. A multi-sport standout that even plays running back in football, Seagreaves averaged a double-double at 16 points and 10 rebounds per game last season.
Elijah Thornton Elijah Thornton 6'7" | PF Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2024 State WI – PF – Milwaukee Academy of Science
Thornton is one of those guys that’s a star in his role. He’s not gonna get a ton of touches offensively, although he’d be more of a feature player on a lot of other teams. Still, Thornton isn’t going to complain, but instead find ways to impact the game. A junkyard dog power forward who attacks the offensive glass, protects the rim, runs the floor, and provides energy, Thornton plays his tail off and makes momentum-changing plays. Outside the top 50, there’s nobody with Thornton’s measurables as an athletic, strong 6-foot-7 forward.
Grayson Young Grayson Young 6'2" | CG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2024 State WI – G – Wisconsin Lutheran
Starting to see Young really find himself as a basketball player. With Wisconsin Lutheran losing a number of key seniors, Young has a chance to finally break out as a senior. A plus-length combo guard that can knock down shots and make plays for others, Young has some intriguing measurables and could be a late bloomer at the next level. Really like his mid-range game and even the ability to take guys down on the block and score over the top — two areas that make him unique in this class.
