The well-built, southpaw guard posted season averages of 19.1 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 4.6 APG, 1.4 SPG, AND 0.5. Boyd assisted in the Charger’s 10-4 conference record last season, and is now preparing to lead the Chargers for his senior season in preparation of a repeat of last season’s success. Powerful, athletic downhill threat with an impressive midrange game. Langston will be one of the clear frontrunners for GM4 Conference Offensive Player of the Year award.

2024 Desmond Kent Jr Desmond Kent Jr 6'5" | SF Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC . – One of the most enticing prospects in the state entering his senior season, Desmond Kent Jr Desmond Kent Jr 6'5" | SF Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC . played a key role in Cabarrus County’s historic 32-0, State Championship season in which they finished the season nationally ranked. During that 22-23 season, Kent posted averages of 12.4 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 1.0 APG, 0.9 SPG, and 2.3 BPG, while acting as the Viking’s primary rim protector. Kent Jr. is a wiry wing standing around 6’5, that has built a reputation for his impressive midrange capabilities with versatile range of defensive capabilities as well. Enticing defender and rebounder with the offensive ability to draw attention from defenders. Kent will be a key in the Vikings’ hopes of repeating as NCHSAA 3A state champions.

2024 Caden Haywood – Haywood will graduate from Hickory Ridge as the first athlete to ever letter all 4 years in 3 separate varsity sports. Haywood’s success in football and baseball are noteworthy, while his success on the hardwood has been record-setting for the program. In February 2023, Caden Haywood became the Ragin’ Bulls’ all-time leading rebounder in his junior season, following a sophomore campaign in which he averaged a 10.9 PPG, 11.2 RPG double-double. In 2022-2023, Haywood posted averages of 7.4 PPG, 9.4 RPG, 1.5 APG, and 1.7 SPG in a season where the Bulls doubled their wins from the previous season, finishing with a 2nd place regular season, 9-3 conference record.

Carson Daniel Carson Daniel 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC – Carson Daniel Carson Daniel 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC has been a commodity in the state of North Carolina since his freshman season. Daniel has contributed as a starter for one of the more, if not the most consistently dominant program(s) in the state of North Carolina. During Central Cabarrus’ historic 2022-2023 season, Daniel averaged 10.2 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 6.7 APG, and 3.6 SPG. Daniel’s well roundedness as a facilitator and defender holds him in high regard as one of the county’s absolute best in both categories. Daniel is one of 3 returners from last season that averaged double figures, and hopes to defend their undefeated record and state title. The patient, winning lead guard is committed to go play at Catawba College alongside his twin brother, Chase.
Chase Daniel Chase Daniel 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC – Chase Daniel Chase Daniel 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC makes up one of 3 key returners for the dominant Central Cabarrus Vikings. In 22-23, Daniel averaged 13.6 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 4.7 APG, 3.6 SPG, and 0.7 BPG. Daniel is a consistent paint touch guard with fearlessness attacking the rim. His identical 3.6 steals to his twin brother, Carson, should serve as a bit of an indication for the level of constant havoc wrecked on that side. Daniel finished last season shooting an exceptionally efficient 61% from the field and 45% from behind the arc on 78 attempts. Catawba College will be welcoming a guard who has experienced more winning in North Carolina than almost anyone else in recent memory.
