One thing was proven by Ja’Micah’s play during this game, and that was he is basically unguardable. Many took their chances, but none found success. He is a relentless playmaker that is extremely tough to contain off the bounce. One defender will not do it, as it takes all five defenders to assist in defending him. He has one of the quickest first steps, will let it fly as soon as he crosses half-court, and has gotten more explosive with his finishes in the paint and at the cup. He finished with the following stat line: 14pts (4-13 [0-5 3-Ptr])
Brandon Thomas Brandon Thomas 6'4" | PF Valley | 2024 State AL (6’6/PF|C/’24/Valley HS)

Things are looking up for BT, as he is getting a lot of buzz among the right people. He just received his first offer from Arkansas Pine-Bluff, which I believe will open the door for others to begin to pull the trigger. BT is one of the most dangerous players in the state, as he is more versatile than when you first look at him. He has secondary playmaking capabilities on his squad and can score at multiple levels. He has an amazing physical build, and his strength overwhelms defenders. He has absurd defensive skills and a growing offensive repertoire. He was 2-pts and 2-rebs from having a double-double. He is a fierce competitor who impacts the game on and off the court. He finished with the following stat line: 8pts (4-7 [0-2 3-Ptr]), 8-Reb, 5-Asst
Tommy Tisdale Tommy Tisdale 6'2" | CG Keith | 2024 State AL , III (6’2/SG/’24/Keith HS)

Tommy is known for his ability to score, and he showed why he can score the rock as he is very assertive, looking for his offense as soon as he steps on the court. Even though he did not shoot the ball well from behind the arc in this game, he can get hot at any moment and be dynamic from behind the arc. We are in the process of updating our metrics on players, so he may be bigger than what we have listed above. When he is not filling it up from deep or teams have committed to running him off the line, he is good at getting downhill and scoring at the rack. He is one of the hardest scorers for defenders to stop, and he proved that in this game. He finished with the following stat line: 9pts (4-11 [1-6 3-Ptr])
The North Team

The recent Creighton commit continued his sensational summer by walking away with the MVP award for the North Team. He showed what he has become known for: his ability to shoot the ball from distance. His game has really matured, and he has developed a brilliant floor game. Ty is a well-rounded big guard who can play on or off the ball, and this past season of having to be the floor general for the Spartans really helped him elevate his game. Everything about Ty says he is ready for a senior year to remember, and his name is already being thrown out as the favorite for Mr. Basketball. He finished with the following stat line: 13pts (5-10 [3-4 3-Ptr]) 3-Asst
Joshua Williams Joshua Williams 6'2" | SG Helena | 2024 State AL (6’3/SG/’24/Helena HS)

Josh is a big guard with a strong upper body who is expanding his game beyond his potent ability to knock down the trey ball. Josh is one of the state’s top perimeter threats and a guy capable of going for huge numbers on any given night. During this game, you saw that he has all the physical tools and a good physical profile that screams that he is ready for the next level. He is a proven sharpshooter and will be his squad’s primary shot-maker this upcoming year. As long as he does not allow the pressure of getting that first offer to distract him, look for Josh to have a huge senior season. He finished with the following stat line: 5pts (2-8 [0-2]) 7-Reb
Adrian Wooley Adrian Wooley 6'1" | SG Paul Bryant | 2024 State AL (6’5/SG/’24/Paul Bryant HS)

One of the most explosive players in the entire game was Adrian, and people have put out some eye-popping highlights of his play throughout the summer. One of the biggest highlights was Adrian catching a body that rocked the gym. He is a talented scorer who can get it done at all levels with the perimeter J and off the bounce. His scoring is on par despite only having 6pts in this game, but you can trust that Adrian will be filling up the stat sheet in the scoring column once the season starts. Adrian’s stock has skyrocketed this summer as he is a player who can truly get a look wherever and whenever he wants. He finished with the following stat line: 6pts (3-5 [0-2])
