Emanuel Befekadu
Befekadu is a 6’1 combo guard who’s worked on his game over the last year. He’s become an advanced ball handler who is an effective off ball ball shooter. He has a super quick one motion release and uses his quickness to convert drives. Befekadu can pass with both hands and get in the paint. He uses his speed and body control to get to the rim for crafty finishes.
Sean Gomez
Gomez is a sleeper in the southwest Florida area. He’s a 6’3 guard who can distribute, score off the dribble, and shot with efficiency. Gomez is gamer who can make big shots and take over the game in spurts. He shot the ball extremely well off the dribble this weekend.
Cook may be a work in progress but he has all the physical tools to compete today. He’s a high energy guard who penetrate and score in transition. He’s strong, bouncy, and fast with the ball in his hands. Cook needs skill development and more feel for the as a distributor.
Jude Angervil
Apopka will have a ton of sleepers on their roster in the fall and Angervil will be a key to their depth. The 6’3 guard can penetrate and kick, score in the mid range, and use his physicality to get to shots. Angervil has a strong frame that separated him from many of the guards at IMG.
Dior Evans
Evans is a multidimensional lead guard. He balances scoring, passing, and defensive instincts for a productive game. He’s a good driver who uses his speed to get in open lanes and has the strength and body control to finish at the rim. Evans has a solid midrange pull up game. He has court vision and passing to hot cross court skip passes. There’s a lot of tools on the 2025 guard’s plate.
