Perkins has had a good Spring and Summer. He’s a hard playing W/F that gets up and down the court going both ways to finish in transition or sprinting back to make a defensive play. He’s active inside working for rebounds and using his length to defend. He’s improved his 3pt shot, he knocked down a couple of big 3’s, while we were watching. He’s a rising prospect.
He’s a solid body forward, at 6’6 with an expanding skill set. He’s a muscular prospect who plays with force in the post area. He’s hard to guard when he gets it going. He’s a rebounder, has the strength to defend in the post. He’s shown he can handle in open court, hit the short jumper, and an occasional 3ptr.
He’s a productive under 6’0 point guard with a muscular body and good leverage. He’s a skilled guard with the ability to run half-court sets. He’s strong on the attack using cross overs to get shots off the dribble, or take it into the paint for jumpers, and kick-outs, he can handle the contact. He knocks down 3ptrs off the dribble. He defends.
He just picked up his first offer. Gibson has steadily improved his play this Spring and Summer. His play is rubbing off on those he plays with. He’s a hard working prospect who’s overall skill-set has improved, not just scoring, he’s making plays without the ball. He’s making good decisions with the ball, his handling, passing and vision are improved. He shows intensity on defense, he rebounds. The extra work is paying off.
He’s a good size point guard who’s been consistent running the offense, he shows patience, good decision making. He’s a quality ball handler who moves the ball around the perimeter, he finds his scorers, delivers quality passes into the post. He has a crossover attack move going to the basket. He forces bigs to react before he dumps it off or maneuvers in for the score. He can hit open 3’s.
