Demuynck has had a busy Spring and Summer. He’s moved on from sleeper status to more of a late bloomer on an upward path. Coaches like his length, frame to add muscle, and his energy. He’s a rim protector, quick jumper, and will go after rebounds. He’s an improving defender. He has range out to the 3pt line. He’s still learning, and steadily rising.
He’s one of NorCal’s better mid-range shooters. He has good form and a smooth release. He’ll use his dribble, move to open spots, use a screen to free himself for knock down shots with consistency. He has good shot selection, decent handles. He uses ball fakes, and jab steps to get to his spots. You can call a play for him.
Rodriquez has been one of NorCal’s most consistent under 6’0 point guards. He’s fast, quick, and crafty with his dribble. He’s a confident player capable of running a teams offense. He has the vision and passing skills. He’s quick and aggressive attacking the paint. He’ll find shooters, dump it off to bigs, or score. He’s pushing and looking in transition.
Highlights
Williams is a good shooter from behind the 3pt line, and can hit the mid-range off the dribble. He’s had a learning, and productive Spring and Summer playing with Arsenal Elite 17’s against quality competition. He’s a good size shooting guard who can knock down 3’s when he gets it going. He’s toughened up a bit, using his length to get rebounds and is giving good effort on the defensive side of the ball
Devore is working a bit under the radar. He has a good upside and an improving skill set. Standing 6’7 with a frame to fill, he’s a threat to knock down 3’s on the perimeter, and in the corner. He has room to improve his dribble drive but can use it to hit mid-range, and paint jumpers. He has size to go get a bucket in the paint.
Highlights
Malali has had a productive Spring and Summer playing against quality competition. He has good form on his jump shot and can hit it when he’s into a good flow of the game. He’ll knock down open 3’s in transition, and hit short corner jumpers. He’s getting better at handling the physical play. He’s a mover with or without the ball, his passing is good.
Morris has spent the Spring and Summer working to improve his guard skills, ball handling, passing, and driving from the perimeter, he’s putting up jumpers. He’s an athletic player with good hops, standing around 6’2 he’s an effective player finishing in the post area off two feet. He finishes strong in transition, he’s a good rebounding guard.
