Bryce is a blue collar player that has always done what is best for his team. This includes his play at the club level and at the high school level. This past high school season he was playing 1-5 and he was putting up big numbers. Although he did not rack up wins, he was really playing at a high level and he excelled against the other big prospects in the state. Really impressed with his grit and as he continues to work on those perimeter skills he will just become more consistent.
Highlights
Koli is a wing that can use his athletic ability. At Cyprus he has a shot to really embrace this youth movement that they will have with a veteran coach that has some solid sets that help showcase his players but also get the best out of the roster he has and Koli will be a major player in the success they have and will continue to have. He is playing solid at the club level. Keep grinding it’s a marathon not a sprint!
One of the toughest, strongest and more athletic PG’s that does not get enough love. He is a playmaker. Not only does he play with speed, he brings that energy to every game. He can play all over the perimeter including the high post. When he is at the high post he can start to pick teams apart with the way he can score and simply create off the bounce. Look for him to really make a jump in his production in the next two years. If he can keep learning from elite guards Jordy and Dutch he is going to absorb a lot of wisdom.
Highlights
He is starting to figure his game out and how he can put his fingerprints on games. Mason can create a little bit and he can really move the ball and in times when the ball gets sticky he is the opposite as he moves the ball and keeps moving without the ball. If Mason can get in that weight room and work on his consistent shooting and range he is going to be a big time prospect come his junior and senior year. Keep putting in that work Mason.
Ian is a solid guard that plays with a good motor. If he just lets the game come to him he will be okay. There are times when he is pressing because he is trying to make things happen and that is okay but when the game comes to him he is at his best getting into the lanes putting the ball in a good position for his teammates to score and he will have an easier time catching and shooting as well. Ian should see the varsity floor next season to gain valuable experience, could be a solid player out at West Jordan in a few years.
