Each one of these kids has something that just pops out at you.
Shawn has really good instinct on the basketball floor. He makes quick reads and moves but is also aware of what is coming so he changes course reactively. He has a nice handle and he can change directions quickly through the legs and that burst he has off the bounce is impressive. Then when he is rising up to finish above the rim he is explosive as well. Shawn can finish with one or two hands.
This kid is a dude. Kind of has a comp to a player like Montrez Harrell. He can bring the ball up the floor and he is agile going to the rim as he can change direction quickly and with a really good footwork package. He is blocking shots and he is throwing them down with force. If you give him space he will make some tough buckets in the perimeter.
This kid might be the bounciest player in his class per pound and height. I mean this kid fly’s through the air. When you see it in person it is very unreal. He is a combo guard but his game is slashing to the rim. In time the rest of his game will take off and he is going to be a highlight sensation.
Jaxon is a big body guard that plays with maturity. He is able to get by defenders and dish the ball with elite precision. He attacks the rim and then he finds guys with a lot of no look passes but it is because he knows that they are there. Defensively he can lock players up. The way he can use both hands going full speed at the rim. This kid is going to be a big time riser.
Jeremy Jenkins is a grown man out there. Truly believe that these dudes in eight grade are evolving big time. He powers through contact like a mini Andre Drummond out there. He is just a kid who will bully other bigs and the way that he gets into their bodies so they do not extend and get a full contest on the ball is elite.
