2026 6-4 Guard Champaign Centennial.
Coming off an impressive 20-win JV campaign as the undoubted leader his freshman year. This guard has had a huge summer playing up to the E15 level at EYBL events most recently. The long perimeter player has a feel for the game that allows him to slow it down to create for others. Also, Schilb will shoot off the catch or the dribble. From time to time, Schilb will speed it up and pressure the other team by getting to the rim. One of my top players out of this class for the area I would expect him to contribute to the varsity program for a very strong charger team with some great depth.
Cornelius Dorsey Cornelius Dorsey 6'4" Champaign Centennial | 2026 IL 2025 6-5 Forward Champaign Centennial.
Dorsey’s physical frame is the first thing that stands out to you when watching him play. Another high motor and high character individual, it should be hard to keep him off the boards. I expect finishes in transition and scoring on the post using his strength also a good midrange shooter. I expect to make some plays from the wing. Also, should play a huge role for the charger program this coming season.
Jaylen McElmurry 2025 6-4 Guard Rantoul.
Making it look easy all AAU season. Rantoul is excited for what’s next for this high-flying guard with a high motor and long-range shot. A lot of potential for this eagle squad this season for a program coming out of tough times and some slim classes. I am expecting Jaylen to be a cornerstone for this group during the season and truly compete toward winning basketball on both ends of the floor with undoubted size and varsity playing experience. Jaylen is not someone I recommend jumping with if you are seeing him come downhill.

2025 6-0 Guard Rantoul.
A member of the Mid-Pro select team. Conner is a lights-out shooter with a physical build playing normally as the main ball handler or off-ball guard. Smith will not only shoot at a high clip off a very quick release. He will also set up his teammates for good looks creating for others. Conner brings 2 years of varsity playing experience into his junior campaign. Indeed, the young eagle’s team is looking to turn the tides on winning games for a program with some deep history.
Melvin Hall 2026 5-10 Guard Rantoul.
Not quite finding time at the varsity level yet, I expect Melvin to burst on to the scene this season as a late bloomer. Someone that is just hard to keep off the court. Also an acrobatic finisher and savvy defender that also gets to the rim with ease really plays with a pace of his own. I expect him to be a main contributor for the eagle’s jv team until he can crack his way into the rotation on varsity.
Landyn Hannah 2026 5-11 Guard Mahomet.
As high of a motor as anyone on this list. Just a gifted scorer I wouldn’t be surprised if Hannah is playing varsity minutes for this bulldog program coming off a regional title. Certainly, the culture within the Mahomet program is unmatched and their first-year varsity coach won’t miss a beat with this loaded roster. Landyn can play at either guard position, is a real threat to score off the dribble. Also, a gym rat you don’t even need to coach will be a major contributor down the road.
Jackson Bohm 2026 6-1 Guard Mahomet.
Talk about a D1 bloodline Jackson is a talent of his own on the hardwood. Also, someone I can see playing a huge role for the regional champion bulldog program this season and moving forward. Jackson will be a leader on both ends of the court. Someone his teammates will definitely look to for help scoring the ball. Certainly, part of a very exciting potential backcourt for years to come I don’t expect the winning in Mahomet to come to an end any time soon.
