Rocco Gaffoglio Rocco Gaffoglio 6’0″ | CG Foothill | 2025 State CA-S is an outstanding shooter from anywhere on the court which makes him a constant threat and nightmare for defenses. His catch and shoot ability from beyond the arc is excellent, as he alertly finds holes in defenses and takes advantage of them with his quick release. Gaffoglio is equally effective off the dribble, showcasing his quickness and ball-handling skills to create his own shot from deep and the midrange. On top of his scoring ability, Rocco demonstrates impressive court vision. His ability to read the defense and make accurate passes allows him to set up his teammates for good shots.

Collin Haugh Collin Haugh 6'1" | SG Dana Hills | 2025 State CA-S
Collin Haugh Collin Haugh 6’1″ | SG Dana Hills | 2025 State CA-S is a dynamic player who combines scoring prowess with playmaking ability. His confidence, range, and ability to create for others enable him to consistently have a positive impact. Haugh scores the ball effortlessly at all three levels, and does not allow the defense to force him either left or right as he can score effectively going either direction.
Dutch Martinez Jr.
Dutch Martinez Jr.
Dutch Martinez Jr. is a tremendous competitor and aggressive slasher with the ball in his hands. Martinez Jr. inspires his team with his effort on the defense end and is constantly first to the ground for loose balls. Dutch’s aggressiveness on the offensive end enables him to draw fouls well and his developing upper body strength allows him to finish through contact.
Isaiah Rogers Isaiah Rogers 6’2″ | PG Corona Centennial | 2026 State CA-S showed off every ounce of his potential this weekend. The freshman guard scored at all 3 levels with relative ease, effectively and efficiently created space for himself when necessary, and played good on ball as well as team defense. If all of that wasn’t enough, he also nearly dunked over someone who is conservatively about 6 inches taller than him. While Rogers primarily looks to score the ball, he does a great job finding teammates who become open due to how much attention defensives devote to him. With his minutes at Corona Centennial likely to increase greatly next season, Rogers will certainly be a player to keep an eye on.
Jacob Allen
Jacob Allen
Jacob Allen is an excellent three point shooter, and uses his mature understanding of the game to find just enough space within a defense to get a good shot. While he is primarily a scoring guard, Allen is more than capable of getting into the middle of a defense and kicking out to open shooters.
Adam Grissom Adam Grissom 6’7″ | SF Phhoenix Prep OTE | 2025 CA-S ‘s combination of length, vision, and ability to rebound and initiate fast breaks makes him a versatile player who can impact the game on both ends of the court. Grissom is a capable team defender and his basketball IQ along with his aforementioned long arms enable him to disrupt passing lanes with deflections and steals.
Owen Verna Owen Verna 6’2″ | SG Mater Dei | 2025 State CA-S ‘s strong ball handling, tireless off-ball movement, excellent catch and shoot ability, and solid team defense make him a well-rounded player who consistently contributes on both ends. Verna is a tremendously malleable player who plays with a team first approach, and he should only continue to improve this coming season at Mater Dei playing heavy minutes once again.
Grayson Sinek
Grayson Sinek
Grayson Sinek most often effects the game with his long range shooting, but he also relentlessly attacks the basket and is able to finish with touch. Sinek is aggressive in drawing fouls, and creates opportunities for teammates when he finds open shooters/cutters upon the defense collapsing to the paint.
Tariq Bridges Tariq Bridges 6’5″ | SG St. Pius X-St. Matthias | 2025 State CA-S does a great job of spacing the floor and his 3 point shooting ability forces defenders to close all the way out on him leaving them vulnerable to his quick first step. Bridges has good scoring touch around the basket and is not afraid to seek out contact to get to the free throw line. Bridges has good length and is a good athlete which helps be a good on ball as well as team defender.
Deuce Sims
Deuce Sims
Deuce Sims is a wholly disruptive defender who uses his strong build and plus quickness to make it as difficult as possible for an offense to get started. Sims constantly picks up deflections and steals not to mention how many bad possessions he forces by making it difficult for the other team just to get over half court.
Drew Hall Drew Hall 6’3″ | CG Basha | 2025 State AZ is a playmaking guard who makes it really hard for defenses to adapt to him as he can score going right or left, finish with either hand, shoot from distance, and plays unselfishly such that if you send multiple defenders at him he always finds the open man. Hall could improve in terms of his 1-on-1 defense, but has good instincts and effectively jumps passing lanes for deflections and steals.
Highlights
Matin Madadkar
Matin Madadkar
Matin Madadkar spaces the floor well on offense, has a reliable three point shot and one-dribble pull-up, and plays good 1-on-1 defense as well as team defense. Madadkar maturely understands and plays within his role and if anything could probably shoot the ball more on offense than he already does.
Andrew Garcia
Andrew Garcia
Andrew Garcia brings a spark of energy every time he’s on the court by causing havoc on defense and constantly getting into the paint when he has the ball using his ultra quick first step. Garcia has good touch on his floater, as well as his pull-up jump shot, and uses those moves to catch defenders giving him space so that they don’t get beat for a lay-up.
Max Zylicz
Max Zylicz
Max Zylicz is a player that defenses constantly have to worry about as he will confidently and effectively shoot the ball from anywhere behind the arc. Zylicz is adept at shooting the ball on the move making him not only a tough 1-on-1 cover but someone that draws multiple defenders at times creating opportunities for teammates. Max defends well and has the length to compete and bother shots on the perimeter.
Zander Ovies Zander Ovies 6’1″ | SG Torrey Pines | 2026 State CA-S is a good athlete for his age who competes well on defense, is aggressive attacking the basket, and spaces the floor well by confidently shooting the 3. Ovies is not afraid of seeking out and playing through contact on his way to the rim, and is he gets stronger should only get better at it. Zander plays with great energy which inherently leads to him contributing all over the court.
