A Glance at Ridgeway
Ridgeway played really well in the spring. They reclaimed some of their reputational loss from recent years.
This June the question for Ridgeway, is ‘Can they sustain it, possibly elevate their program?’
Ridgeway has a decent amount of guards. Brian Carter Jr. Brian Carter Jr. 6'6" | SG Ridgeway | 2024 State TN is going to be the star of the show and the team’s going to he play as well as he plays most nights. One thing, maybe only moderately so, is that there are lengthy patches…there are times where he seems uninterested or two passive. Really considering his talent and size he needs to become more desperate to score, embody more of a leading scorer. Perhaps instill kind of a Killer’s instinct. Carter Jr.’s potential is better than the rest of the team and the team is going to need his scoring to defeat really top teams, which they can do thanks to their defense, their intensity, their quickness. It can be a very good team and they’re going to need him to be close to how good he can be.
The Ridgeway men played a lot of 2-3 zone. Interesting. They are a decently quick team. Man seems like the more logical defensive scheme considering their personnel.
The Champs are Here
Fulton High proved to be a dominant champion. The first obvious impression this day was how eagerly the leaders passed the ball. Typically, unselfish stars beget high team morale.
