He defends the the ball and gets tips and deflections. He is a player that can battle on the boards and get a rebound and push the ball up the floor as a lead guard. His ability to hit shots is there as well. He can get to the rim so quickly and he has the athletic ability to elevate and finish above defenders. He mixes things up offensively going inside and out. He is a few inches away from being a in game above the rim player. Makai is solid catching and shooting out on the wing. He has really good elevation on his shots. Defensively he has great instincts as he gets touches and steals. Should be a good young player coming up in Provo. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
