Parks up in Nor Cal has been a player that has shown growth in his game. He is often on some teams that have some really good talent and at times he might not seem as much but the kid can hoop. He has a elite vision and he has solid IQ and shot taking and making ability. He can be an off the ball catch and shoot kid. He can also provide some slashing to the a team and he is a willing defender. That ability to do a little bit of everything allows him to jump on any team and provide what is needed so he can contribute to winning.
Every kid out in Utah is under the radar and there are a lot of good ones and Luke is leading the pack as a player with an unlimited motor on both ends of the floor. His dribbling ability is elite and he can keep his dribble among different traps and defenders pushing up. Luke has a unique ability to snake through the defense and get to the r m. He does finish through that contact and he is a player that can shoot so you need to push up on him or he will hit those open looks. The motor and scoring ability makes him a player that is fun to watch.
Although he comes from a basketball rich family he is still under the radar when it comes to comparing him to other players in his class but he has hit some strides as a player that can hit big shots as a great catch and shoot threat but he has also developed that off the bounce game as awell where he can be a deep ball threat when he gets into that pick n’ roll action. He has yet to hit that growth spur as well and with his big shot making ability he is going ot be just fine in a few years.
Upside on this kid is crazy as he is just huge right now and he might have a shot at being a premier shot blocker in his class as he is just long and alters shots just by walling up. He probably has a 7’0 wingspan. As he gets older and kids grow he will be able to play his game even more. He is a problem on the boards and he is nice in the post. He has to develop more strength and more moves down on the blocks but he is young na d has potential to be a big time hidden gem out in Colorado. With a suster that has 10+ D1 offers as a Class of 2025 hooper and another sister playing basketball at UCLA this kid just needs time.
