Kerrick Medose, 5’10 G – Green Mountain Select Class of 2025
Medose’s poise and steady hand come to mind. Kerrick is a strong combo who can organize the offense fluidly. Yet his off-ball work keeps his defender busy. And if the defense slacks, Kerrick is apt to cut for easy twos or spot-up for clean jumpers. Defensively, his anticipation + senses are all there. Plus, he uses his size well to crash the boards and mix it up inside. I’m hoping to see more of Medose as he sharpens his tools.
Morgan Michaud, 5’11 G – Hardwick Mustangs Class of 2026
It doesn’t matter the setting; Morgan plays all out. Michaud’s gritty approach is chock full of physicality alongside his tight handle. He drives it to the cup and finishes well through contact, yet he balances that out with some finesse while breaking ball pressure or working off the ball. And on the defensive end, Morgan is uptight on his man, communicative, and makes sure everything is earned. So tough.
Jacob Armstrong, 5’10 G – Blueprint Basketball Class of 2025
A natural at the 1, Jacob’s organization and facilitation of the offense is versatile yet precise. Armstrong gets everyone involved and feeds teammates with crisp passes to get them looks in their spots. Moreover, he’s shown he can create his own shot and knock it down too. Then defensively, he’s measured and high-IQ both on the ball and off. I like Jacob’s upside, for his feel for the game is clear.
Jack Lafayette, 5’10 G – VT Elite Class of 2026
Lafayette has the skillset + mindset to play the 1 or the 2 at a high level. Jack is a cerebral guard who sees the floor intuitively, letting plays develop and executing right on time. His passing + vision are crisp and timely, plus, he knocks down shots at an efficient rate regardless of if they’re off the bounce or catch. Defensively, Jack knows how to dig in against handlers and his rotations/scrambles are consistently on point. Well-rounded and so smart.
Connor Denis, 5’8 G – Green Mountain Select Class of 2026
A scrappy guard with no quit, Denis brings the heat each time he steps on the floor. Denis’ defense brings a lot of grit, and he doesn’t back down from stiff competition. Offensively, his orchestration is patient yet cunning as he breaks defenses down. Plus, Connor has shown he can create offense both as a scorer and a playmaker for others, especially when he punctures the paint. I’m interested to see where he takes his game from here.
