If a defender decides to overplay a pass, Lopez possesses the ability to get to the rim and finish. But if the defense collapses during his drives, he showed the ability to find the open man. But his best attributes are his hands and feet of the defensive side of the ball. Mostly by getting into passing lanes and creating steals, that result into easy layups. And his strength not only bothered defenders at the Fordham team camp. It looked like he took every offensive and defensive rebound personally. In fact, Adam was a monster on the glass creating 2nd or 3rd opportunities for the Crusaders.
