Continue ReadingOver the past few seasons, he has shown flashes of what he could be, but this past weekend we finally saw the consistent performances from him that we were looking for. He attacked the rim time and time again, not only putting together some impressive scoring numbers but also quite a few highlight plays that had fans leaving their seats. If he can continue to put these types of performances together, the phone will definitely be ringing, and colleges will begin to extend offers.
One of the most unselfish D1 prospects that you will come across, he constantly is looking to make the correct play for his team. Whether it’s making the extra pass or the correct defensive rotation, this young man wants to do whatever it takes for his team to win. He has outstanding athletic ability, plays strong in the paint and seems to be more comfortable playing on the perimeter.
The young phenom put together some very impressive performances throughout the weekend and continues to show why HCA will be a dangerous team come playoff time and why he’s a national prospect. Another prospect that played his way onto the radar of college programs in attendance, he had a big-time game in the playoffs that showed what he can potentially be. He attacked the basket at a high rate, knocked down perimeter shots and made some plays on the defensive end of the floor.
Not many young players understand how to embrace their role on a high school team as the second option, but this young man flat out gets and excels at his role playing alongside one of the top players in the country. He scored the ball from the perimeter with consistency, especially in catch and shoot situations but also showed some athleticism and made some plays above the rim.
We really liked what we saw from him during the camp, but he really caught our attention with his performance in the playoffs in their matchup with RCHS. He showed his ability to score against various types of defensive pressure and was crafty with the way he scored the ball in traffic.
