There were many standouts throughout the event, and plenty of offers were thrown around as well. Here’s a look at part two of the 2024 standouts from Maryland teams in attendance.
Tyonne Farrell Tyonne Farrell 6'6" | PF Mount St. Joseph | 2024 State #210 Nation MD | 6’6” F | Mount St. Joe’s
Farrell was one of the best players throughout session two, as he used his high motor, length and athleticism to absolutely dominate on both ends of the floor. The hybrid forward showed his ability to get out in transition and play above the rim, he put it on the deck and used his length to finish at the rim, he guarded multiple positions and made plays on the defensive end and he did whatever it took to help his team win. He finished the event averaging 24.8 points on 56% shooting, 7.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
Jordan Braithwaite | 6’4” WG | Mount St. Joe’s
While Braithwaite didn’t quite have the same showing he did in session one, he still showed why he’s one of the most underrated and under recruited players in the DMV. The 6’4” wing has a strong body and is a good athlete who can get downhill and finish around the rim, he knocks down shots from deep both off the catch and off the bounce and he has a good motor and IQ to make plays across the board. He finished the event averaging 11.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
Logan Suber Logan Suber 6'0" | PG Mt. Zion | 2024 MD | 5’11” PG | Mt. Zion
Super is the straw that stirs the drink for this Mt. Zion team who had a very impressive session two going 4-0 with Suber as the primary ball handler and leader. He handled pressure well and got them into sets while making plays for others, he shots the ball well from deep and picked his spots to score it and he set the tone defensively and controlled the tempo making plays across the board. He finished the event averaging 6.8 points, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
Nathan Wooden | 6’2” WG | Riverdale Baptist
Wooden was one of the most efficient scorers of the entire event, as he shot the ball at a very high clip and scored it in bunches and a variety of ways. Wooden shot the ball very well from deep off the catch and off the bounce, he showed the ability to work off the ball to get open, he got to spots off the bounce and scored it well in the midrange and he showed great instincts on both ends of the floor. He finished the event averaging 18 points on 59% shooting from the field and 45.5% shooting from deep and 5.3 rebounds per game.
Kingston Price | 6’1” CG | Severn
Price is one of the more underrated guards in the DMV as he is a talented guard who can produce at a high rate as both a scorer and a distributor. He’s a high volume scorer who can knock down shots from deep and in the midrange off the bounce, he has a quick first step and can touch the paint where he’s a good finisher, he has a good IQ and makes plays for others and he can control the tempo and set the tone defensively. He finished the event averaging 21.3 points on 52% shooting, 5.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
Daquan Davis Daquan Davis 6'1" | PG Overtime Elite (GA) | 2024 #119 Nation GA | 6’0” PG | St. Frances
Davis committed to Providence on Saturday after his games at the DMV Live, and he showed his winning ways throughout the event. Davis is a pit bull of a guard who gets after it on both ends of the floor and exudes toughness in every way, he’s lightning quick and has great speed in transition, he gets to the rim easily and is an explosive finisher and he can create and make shots off the bounce from multiple levels. He finished the event averaging 15.8 points, 5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game.
Caleb Embeya Caleb Embeya 6'9" | C St. Maria Goretti | 2024 State #238 Nation MD | 6’8” PF | St. Maria Goretti
Embeya is one of the most intriguing 2024 prospects in the Baltimore area, as he is an athletic and productive big man who still has a lot of room to get better moving forward. He’s mobile and fast when he runs the floor in transition, he has quick spins and good moves in the post with his back to the basket, he’s a big time rebounder and rim protector and he plays with a good motor on both ends of the floor. He finished the event averaging 15 points, 12.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game.
