You can tell that his dad is the speed & strength coach at NDSU! You do not see many 2026 kids built like Miller. I was impressed with Cam’s ball skills. He shook defenders with a freeze dribble, fake cross, and a hesitation move. He also delivered a dime to Havelka in a PNR situation. I liked his aggressiveness when going to the rim for his young age. Cam showed a sweet finish when crossing the lane, he scored with an opposite-hand/oppositive-leg finish. It was a smart move to keep the defender away from the ball. Can he step in and fill the void that Ray Brown left? Could Miller be the PG of the future?
Kaleb Skari Kaleb Skari 6'1" | CG Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND (2024) |6’1 G|
He first stood out with active hands on defense. kari deflected and altered passes. When slashing baseline, Kaleb delivered a smooth lefty pass to a spotting-up shooter. He seems to have skill and a calm demeanor. Skari can also drain the 3-ball. He lets it fly with a compact shot that has no wasted movement. Will Skari fill the shoes/role of the departed Cole Callies?
Peter Havelka

He was a MONSTER! This was by far the best I have seen Havelka play. Peter dominated the glass on both ends. He scored numerous times with offensive rebound stick-backs. I was impressed with how he tracked the ball and how he quickly reacted to the rock off the rim. Peter shared the ball out of the post and looked to be a willing passer. He had multiple AND1’s, he was at the line often. His finishing at the rim was impressive. Peter scored with his left hand in transition. He also scored with a double-pump hang-time finish. Havelka is not just big & strong, he is a sneaky athlete as well! If Havelka looks like this in the winter, watch out for the Eagles!
Alpha Camara Alpha Camara 6'5" | SF Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND (2024) |6’5 F|
He is long and super athletic. Camara is also very BOUNCY! He runs like a deer and gets to the rim in a millisecond. Alpha scored in transition, with O-board putbacks, and off the bounce. Camara likes the middle drive and when he gets two feet in the paint, there is little you can do to stop him. His finger-roll finishes are smooth and he swatted multiple shots.
Nick Hasbargen Nick Hasbargen 6'1" | SF Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND (2024) |6’1 SF|
He plays with a physical presence and Hasbargen is tough on defense. He showed adept anticipation when stealing the ball. Nick impressed me with a baseline drive and kiss off the glass for a score. I loved when he secured a rebound, looked down the floor, and kicked the ball ahead to push the tempo. Nick will be a glue guy and a reliable role player this next season.
Jaxon Beiswenger Jaxon Beiswenger 6'4" | SG Fargo Davies | 2024 ND (2024) |6’4 G|
He stood out with his length and athleticism. Jaxon has a quick first step and he covers a lot of ground. I liked his aggressiveness and how he got to the line. Beiswenger is a capable shooter from beyond the arc. He knockdown down a pull-up triple in transition in the 2nd half. Jaxon has a sweet mid-range game. He gets his defender on their heels and he can rise up on a dime. His hesitation move was noteworthy and he picked a dribblers pocket with quick hands. Jaxon was impressive when he slashed middle, scanned the floor, and kicked out to a shooter. Davies will be tough next winter and Beiswenger will be a key piece of the puzzle.
Maddox Maloney (2024) |6’3 F|
He was aggressive on both sides of the ball and he did not back down. When Maloney had the ball around the rim, he did not shy away from contact. I liked how he grabbed a deep rebound, led the break via the dribble, and scored in transition. Maddox looks to be a quality role player.
Detroit Lakes
Devon Berg (2024) |6’0 G|
He started the game with a triple from the left corner. Berg is fluid in the catch-n-shoot game. I like his form and follow-through. Devon showed a dirty crossover that he used to shake defenders. On multiple occasions, Berg showed great feet. He used pivots to create space for shots and I loved his shot-fake that went into a step-through move. Devon is a skilled backcourt player.
Brandton Marsh (2024) |6’4 F|
He is an athlete, no question about that. Marsh has long arms and they allow him to grab rebounds, score over defenders, and take away passing angles. Brandton looked good on defense, I like how he moved his feet and kept ball-handlers in front. Marsh scored with multiple O-boards putbacks and he showed his range with a catch-shoot 3-ball. With his length and mobility, I imagine that Brandton is a matchup problem for many teams.
Reece Borgmann (2024) |5’11 G|
He first stuck out by laying in the weeds on defense and by stealthy stepping in front of a pass and picking it off like a safety in football. On offense, Borgmann looked like a sneaky and clever creator. I liked his craftiness with the ball and his feel for the game. Reece did a nice job slashing and dishing. Borgmann saw the floor and passed well.
