We have released our 2028 Watchlist, and here are a few players you need to know…

Keegan has become one of the best 3&D players in the country. His ability to shoot the rock from distance is his calling card and is the strength of his game. Defensively he is a nuisance that applies intense pressure on ball-handlers. He plays with a lot of passion and pride on the defensive end of the floor, and he never let moments when the shot isn’t falling, affect his play on D. I have put ink on him quite often in the past, and the way he continues to develop more ink will be coming.

It is difficult to find another player in the 2028 class with more hype surrounding them than Erick. He is the player everyone talks about and wants to see in every camp or tournament he is a part of. The great thing about this young man is that I see his game evolving every time I lay eyes on him. As with all the kids in this class and in this article, he will have inconsistent moments, but no one can deny this talent and promise that he shows. The pedigree is there, and he is steadily working his way into the player many see him one day becoming.

Romeo is a young budding prospect that is growing in all facets of his game. He shows that he is a multi-level scorer and a reliable ball-handler. He impacts the game on and off the ball and balances both scoring and facilitating. He can spread the floor with his shooting but also open things up with his slashing and creation off of the dribble. When in the groove, he can put points on the board, and the exciting thing about him is he is a gym rat.

I have said it before, and I will say it again, Brielen is one of the best shot creators on the 2028 watchlist. He makes you hold your breath every time he touches the ball; he is extremely skilled at getting his shot off in tight spaces/windows. He has shown the ability to make shots from different angles, and defenders must be conscience of him every time he is on the court and his team has an offensive possession. He is one of the most gifted scorers I have seen in this class.

Khalil continues to be a problem in the frontcourt. His size is a factor every time he steps on the court. His skill with the ball on the low block is improving, and a big surprise has been his growth in handling the ball on the perimeter and in the open court. He continues to dominate on the glass and make life tough for slashers looking to get to the cup.

Tre is a young player with a lot of talent, but he just hasn’t seemed to have that one breakout moment that pushes him into the next dimension of prospects in his class. He has all the physical tools as he can score the ball with the best of them and facilitate if needed. On many teams, he is playing behind significant talent in which he has to share minutes, but make no mistake about it; he is a budding prospect in his class to keep an eye on.
