Will James Jr Will James Jr 6’4″ | SG Holly Springs | 2025 State NC climbs into No. 21 with his latest development with Strong Center on the Independent scene. He’s a prospect that’s shown his growth on the weight-lifting front, sporting a stronger frame this spring that’s allowed him to show he can knock down 3-pointers off the bounce and make things happen off the bounce. He’s a strong-framed guard that’s just getting started at Holly Springs High after spending time as a varsity starter in 2022-23. He’s a name to get to know out of the 919 area.

Isaiah Thomas Isaiah Thomas 6’2″ | CG Wayne Prep Academy | 2026 NC is another guard prospect, though 6-foot-2, that’s shown his strides on the strength development front. Now he’s finishing dunks with authority in traffic and making tough finishes off the glass off the bounce. He’s shown he can score in a variety of ways with his high-level ball-handling ability. He’s a lead guard prospect that DI and DII programs in the region should get eyes on out of Wayne Prep Academy. He runs with NC Invasion on the Independent grassroots front as one of their main rotation guys as well.

Curtis Jackson Curtis Jackson 6’3″ | CG White Oak | 2025 State NC is a guard that climbs to the 29th spot, all the way from the 62nd position given his prowess on both ends of the floor. He’s a prospect that knows how to make an impact on both ends of the floor with his length and quick-scoring ability. He’s shown he can lead his team to wins with his defensive pressure on the ball and ability to change momentum while remaining even-keeled. He’s a name for DI and DII programs to get eyes out of White Oak High. He runs with Truth Elite AAU on the Independent scene as well.
Trajan Thompson Trajan Thompson 6’5″ | SG Providence Day | 2025 State NC is a prospect who’s seen his stock rise as a top performer on the EYBL scene with Team United in the early Spring session. He’s one of the biggest movers, moving from No. 132 to No. 32 in the latest rankings update. He’s a wiry wing prospect at 6-foot-5 that’s shown he can operate as a perimeter threat and uses his athleticism to make acrobatic finishes in traffic. He’s earned offers from Sam Houston State and High Point University since the contact period opened on June 15. He’s a MM name to get to know in the class.

Wesley White Wesley White 6’7″ | PF Hickory Ridge | 2025 State NC is a big man prospect to get to know as he’s shown his growth on the UAA scene with Team Charlotte . He’s a 6-foot-7 presence that’s shown he can operate at the stretch-forward spot or as a presence in the paint. His ability to adjust and find ways to score around the rim and knock down shots off the bounce make him quite the intriguing prospect. He’ll be a new face to get to know this season at Hickory Ridge High after spending the past two seasons at West Cabarrus in 2022-23.
Alonso Easterling Alonso Easterling 6’9″ | C Fayetteville Academy | 2025 VA is another big man prospect that’s seen his stock grow in the latest update, moving from No. 60 to No. 49 in 2025 class. He’s a 6-foot-11 prospect that’s also a member of the Argentina National Team and recently received an invite to the NBA’s Basketball Without Borders program. He’s a big man with Team Wall with sharp instincts as a shot-blocker and rebounder on both ends of the floor. As he develops his perimeter game, look for his name to grow among DI programs on the recruiting trail.
