New Coach/New Team
Let’s start with Herriman High School. Herriman will have a new man on the sidelines who is vary familiar coaching some high level talent in Doug Mecham. Recently captured a 4A State Championship at Snow Canyon High School.
Herriman has a solid roster with a young PG in Carlo Mulford Carlo Mulford 6'0" | PG Herriman | 2026 State UT who has proven he could not only score but move the ball and create for others. His keen IQ on the floor is something that can help building this program up that has other players like Ike Palmer Ike Palmer 6'6" | CG Herriman | 2024 State UT . Malcom Johnson Malcom Johnson 6'6" | SF Herriman | 2024 State UT and Cale Barclay Cale Barclay 6'8" | PF Herriman | 2025 State UT that could really get the team to the next level.
Top Two
Although teams have graduated players there are just a few programs that benefit from pulling from a deep basketball rooted community. Here are the two teams that will be likely 1 and 2 again.
Corner Canyon
With Brody Kozlowski Brody Kozlowski 6'8" | SF Corner Canyon | 2024 State #103 Nation UT coming back this team will have a foundation to build on because Brody proved he could play the 5 on defense and own the boards on both ends. He can also light it up from deep and hurt you in the post. Insert new comers like Tate Boman Tate Boman 6'2" | CG Bingham | 2024 State UT who can shoot the ball and Tyler Mortensen Tyler Mortensen 6'3" | CG Corner Canyon | 2026 State UT who is a young player that will be a combo guard and then you have the wing player that can shoot in Taylor Feroah Taylor Feroah 6'7" | SG Corner Canyon | 2024 State UT as well as Isaac Neibaur Isaac Neibaur 6'3" | CG Corner Canyon | 2024 State UT who will be a do it all wing as well who can defend and rebound. They have also added Hayden Gribble Hayden Gribble 6'6" | SF Corner Canyon | 2024 State UT who moved into the area as well.
American Fork
This team is always loaded and seems to also be a hot bed for players to move into as well. With Tiger Cuff Tiger Cuff 6'4" | CG American Fork | 2024 State UT just playing brilliant basketball right now he is set for a huge year. Blake Rawson Blake Rawson 6'8" | PF American Fork | 2024 State UT is another player that looks healthy and strong. Looks like his upper body got stronger so he is going to be a problem in the paint. The game changer will be that Diego Mulford Diego Mulford 5'10" | PG American Fork | 2024 State UT moved into the American Fork as did Reece Dent Reece Dent 6'8" | SF American Fork | 2024 State UT who will give them more depth and scoring ability. This team will be tough.

Lone Peak should be tough will Chamberlain Burgess Chamberlain Burgess 6'9" | PF Lone Peak | 2025 State #214 Nation UT who is having a heck of a Spring as is Ike Staley Ike Staley 6'6" | SG Lone Peak | 2025 State UT who is a game changing 2 guard.
Davis High School is a team you need to pay attention to with Coleman Atwater Coleman Atwater 6'3" | PG Davis | 2025 State UT ‘s shooting ability and Zach Fisher Zach Fisher 6'7" | CG Davis | 2024 State UT who is playing some great basketball for Utah Gold.
Farmington has some young guards who will have a shot as they join Paul Beattie Paul Beattie 6'9" | PF Farmington | 2024 State UT to make a run.
Weber has a player that can carry a team in Hunter Schenck Hunter Schenck 6'2" | PG Weber | 2024 State UT .
Fremont High School has one of the best player in all of 2024 in Hunter Hansen Hunter Hansen 6'4" | PG Fremont | 2024 State UT a player that does it all as he can score at all three levels and is just a stat stuffing hooper. You need to beware of them, Hunter is also playing well for the Mountain Stars.
Layton High School has two top backcourt mates that can make some noise in Mekhi Martin Mekhi Martin 6'2" | PG Layton | 2024 State UT and KJ Miller KJ Miller 6'3" | CG Layton | 2024 State UT .
Last but not least the new kid in 6A is Lehi and they have a big time talented squad coming back. Easton Hawkins Easton Hawkins 6'4" | CG Lehi | 2025 State UT is good and improving on the circuit, Cooper Lewis Cooper Lewis 6'1" | PG Lehi | 2024 State UT has been a big time shot maker as has Grayson Brousseau Grayson Brousseau 6'6" | PF Lehi | 2024 State UT .
