<p>The conference looks to be returning a lot of talent including a couple of all conference guards. Four guards signed to play basketball at the collegiate level from the 2023 class. Brock Adams (Bryan) Dillian Brown (Montreat) Donovan Bateman (Montreat) & Ethan Hooper (Bryan). Who will be next?</p>

<p><strong>6'1” 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2039006' first='Jack' last='Teesateskie'] (Cherokee)</strong> is the youngest on this list but is a standout after a great freshman year. Teesateskie plays both guard positions seamlessly. Has a nice shot and scores at all three levels. Love his playmaking abilities as well. Averaged 13 PPG, 3 APG, & 3 RPG.</p>

<p><strong>5'9” 2024 Xander Wachacha (Robbinsville) </strong>should continue to progress after a terrific junior season. Wachacha is a guard who is able to create his own shots. Active defender. Good passer. Averaged 14 PPG, 5 APG, & 3 SPG. Robinsville had a 23-6 record and went to the 3rd round of the 1A playoffs.</p>

<p><strong>5'11”</strong> <strong>2024 Reese Winchester (Swain County)</strong> is another PG coming off a solid junior season. Winchester shoots a high percentage from the 3 point line. He's good at pushing the pace & finishing. Averaged 11 PPG, 4 APG and 2 SPG.</p>

<p><strong>5'11” Elijah Lineberry (Cherokee)</strong> can make plays on both sides of the court. Takes pride in his defense and looks to read steals and passing lanes. Affectively gets to the paint and scores from the mid-range and at the basket. Averaged 9 PPG, 3 RPG, & 2 SPG last season as a sophomore.</p>

<p><strong>6'0” 2024 Joshua Collins (Swain County)</strong> plays with hustle and determination every time he steps on the floor. Multi-sport athlete that plays extremely hard. Downhill guard who gets to the basket. Looks to guard best player on the other team every time. Averaged 10 PPG, 4 RPG, & 2 SPG as a junior.</p>

<p><strong>5'5” 2024 Michael Driver (Cherokee)</strong> is a pest on the defensive end always looking to go for steals and force turnovers. Gets most of his points from steals and fast breaks. Averaged 10 PPG, 2 APG, & 2 RPG as a junior.</p>

<p><strong>5'9” 2024 Asher Brown (Hayesville)</strong> is solid defensively. Takes pride in doing the little things to help his team win. Recently won a 1A state championship in the 20-21 season. Looks to take on a bigger role this upcoming season with Hayesville losing their two starting all conference guards.</p>

<p><strong>5'11” 2024 Graham Burch (Andrews)</strong> played the point guard position most of the year for Andrews until Senior Guard Isaac Weaver came back from injury. Plays with good pace and control. Averaged 4 PPG, & 2 RPG as a junior.</p>

<p><strong>5'5 2025 Kegan Ellis (Andrews)</strong> is a quick guard who gets downhill and makes plays off of two feet. Shoots well from deep. He was a spark plug off the deep Andrews bench this past season averaging 4 PPG, 2 APG as a sophomore.</p>
