One of my favorite PG’s inthe country and he has been playing at a high level for a few years now, the difference is that people are starting to notice now. DP3 has picked up 3 offers from Division 1 schools because they know he is only going to get better. Fresno State, Portland and McNess State have thrown their name in the pot. He has a quick dribble and he can change directions quickly. His ability to snake his way into the paint against various levels of defense is impressive. He is just a tough PG that has that dog in him. He can shoot so you can’t sag off and he is too quick to play really high so you kinda have to play the numbers game with him and make the shots he is taking as tough as possible.
6’7 CG with a strap is what you have to know. You already know that at 6’7 he is going to grab boards and finish anything by the rim. But his ability to shoot is impressive. You can already see that his comp is going to be KD just because he has a similar built but the kinda move the same so you have to think that he is using his game to learn as well. His mid-range bag is impressive because he runs down pulls up and hits at a high percentage. This kid is going to be fun to watch
I really like the way this kid is built mentally, he does not duck anyone and although he is from Indiana he will play anyone anywhere. He has been running with team Teague as of late or in addition but the kid can hoop. Motor is top notch as he follows his own shots and he stays active on the boards. You great full effort from him all the time. Pesky defender that moves his feet but he also stays active with his hands and he will pick your pocket if you do not protect. He probably averages 4 to 5 steals a game easy. He is the type of player that sets the tone.
This kid is a floor general he knows how to get to the foul line and he can make a living there. He is a great passer and knows where to place the ball for his bigs rolling or shooters ready to shoot. His patience with the ball in his hands displays a lot of maturity. When he does make an attacking move he has a very good feel for the game, he is able to cut defenders off as he makes his way to the rim. A lot of upside for the Florida PG.
Tyler is one of the shiftiest guards you will see, the way he is able to move with the bal laterally is impressive. That twitch burst he has on a full stop is next level. Handle will allow him to break ankles all game. When he does shake defenders he has some solid finishing moves as well. He is a three-level scorer that dishes the ball. He is a complete all around player and he is a player that will be a big time stat stuffer.
