He is an elite finisher at the rim for his size, with great control of the basketball and his body to absorb and avoid contact. His scrappiness on the interior is also evident on the defensive end of the court where he looks to take the best offensive matchup and does so with aggressiveness and picking up full court. His ability to go coast to coast allows him to find success every time he gets a deflection or his teammate gets a steal.   He is also a true point guard, throwing picture perfect passes up the court to his streaking teammates. He constantly makes the right read with the ball in his hands. Jackson is always looking to push the break and find his teammates for an open look when the defense begins to collapse around him. In the last year he has really developed his point guard skills, but has natural skills off the ball by slipping behind his defender and moving without the basketball. On the defensive end, he is a disruptive force who can protect the rim and lock down his man on the perimeter. He moves his feet well and uses his length and strength to make life difficult for opposing players. I loved his energy on this end of the court, showing a willingness to do all of the dirty work. He is an elite rebounder who boxes out and skies for defensive rebounds to close out possessions.   Offensively, he is a consistent finisher around the basket and can use his size and athleticism to get deep post position. He is also versatile and can play off the ball, in the dunker's spot, or at the high post. Devin is a team player who is willing to make the extra pass to find the open man, and his ability to score in a variety of ways makes him a dangerous offensive weapon. His competitiveness and work ethic make him a valuable asset to any team.   Jackson Lawson 2024 6'3 South Lake Carroll High School, TX (Team Phoenix)   Jackson Lawson is a complete scorer on the court with a silky smooth jump shot that makes him a threat from beyond the arc and in the mid-range. He is a very intelligent player who makes good decisions with the ball, consistently hitting the open man and not forcing the issue. Additionally, Lawson is a solid rebounder who uses his size and athleticism to track down boards on both ends of the floor. His ability to follow up his own misses with put-backs makes him a dangerous offensive rebounder.   Lawson's quick release with his shot allows him to get his shot off against any defender, making him a constant threat from the perimeter. On top of his scoring prowess, he is also an effective passer who makes great decisions with his outlet passes, pushing the ball up the court to get his teammates easy baskets. Furthermore, Lawson has improved his game off the ball by moving without the basketball to get open looks and create scoring opportunities for his team. Overall, he is a well-rounded player who does all of the little things to help his team win.   Cam Wagner 2024 6' Mickey Leland High School, TX (Beast Elite)   Cam is a scrappy point guard with a high basketball IQ who always makes the right decisions to find an open teammate. He is a true floor general who can lead a team from out of the half-court set, but is equally comfortable running and making good decisions on the fast break. Wagner is a three-level threat on the offensive end, knocking down big shots from beyond the arc, but also thriving on getting to the rim with his crafty ball-handling skills.   In his first game today, he was huge down the stretch in a come-from-behind victory, willing his team to victory with his scoring ability. Wagner has a knack for making plays at the right time and is always looking to make the right read with the ball in his hands. Defensively, he is a tough on-ball defender who is always looking to pick up full-court and take the best offensive matchup. Cam Wagner is a talented point guard who can impact the game in a variety of ways and will be a valuable addition to any team. He has a quick release and a high basketball IQ that allows him to make tough shots in crunch time. He is an excellent shooter from beyond the arc, but can also knock down shots from the midrange with ease. He has the ability to create his own shot and has a variety of moves that keep defenders on their toes.   Caleb is also a solid defender who uses his quickness and length to disrupt opponents. He has a good understanding of defensive positioning and does a great job of contesting shots without fouling. He is also able to play the point guard position and create opportunities for his teammates with his passing ability. Caleb is a tough competitor who is always looking to improve his game and make his teammates better.
