We chose some random players around the state and gathered three simple questions to ask them. #1), What was their thoughts on how the season went, #2) What are some points of emphasis for them in the off-season and #3) What do they want to accomplish next season?
Question #1: What was your thoughts on how the season went this past year? rnAnswer: I thought the season for me went fairly well, big improvement from sophomore year and felt I could’ve did some more things to help my team be in a better position. I thought this was a good season for me breaking 1,000 points and averaging 20+ points per game. I only look to improve from here and get more wins! As a team this season, it didn’t go the way we wanted to, a couple games we gave away which really affected our chances in State, but we can’t have no excuses and we just have to get better for next year. But as a team, we weren’t happy how this year went.
Question #2: What are some points of emphasis this off-season?rnAnswer: Some points of emphasis for this off-season is to be definitely gym-heavy, work to better ourselves every day, get closer as a team and get ourselves out there. We will be playing in college team camps, high school team camps and get more exposure to hopefully grab some college coaches’ eyes. This summer our goal is to improve and be ready for next year.
Question #3: What do you want to accomplish next season?rnAnswer: Next year I want to achieve being a Top Ten team and making State, making a run in State, winning district and just having a good season. I also want to achieve becoming the highest scoring Farmington basketball player ever. I also want to pickup a offer this summer or next year. We have a lot of goals next year and we will work hard to try and achieve those goals for next year.
Question #1: What was your thoughts on how the season went this past year? rnAnswer: I feel like I improved a lot from last season individually and had some good success later on down the road as a team. We improved greatly, it took us a minute to find our groove nut once we found on rhythm, we really got going especially in the State Tournament.
Question #2: What are some points of emphasis this off-season?rnAnswer: Some points of emphasis that I’ve been working on is definitely getting in the weight room, and also trying to perfect my skills on the court for summer basketball and next season.
Question #3: What do you want to accomplish next season?rnAnswer: I think everyone on the team knows what our goal is for next season. We all want that blue trophy; we are working every day in order to get back to “The Pit” and bring home the State Title.
Question #1: What was your thoughts on how the season went this past year? rnAnswer: I thought as a team, all yea we had a mentality of being dogs and playing our game. We came in with the mindset of winning a State Championship and we ultimately got to where we needed to be to succeed but just couldn’t finish. Personally I feel like I did what was needed by the team to succeed at our level.
Question #2: What are some points of emphasis this off-season?rnAnswer: I think as a player, I’m trying to evolve my game more as a whole this off-season as well as becoming more familiar with this new team.
Question #3: What do you want to accomplish next season?rnAnswer: I want to get back to that Championship Game and have a shot at winning a blue trophy again.
Question #1: What was your thoughts on how the season went this past year? rnAnswer: Individually I learned and gained a lot. I learned how to be a leader and feel like I have improved a lot from last season. As a team, we had a lot of up’s and downs in the beginning of the season but in the end, I thought we had a pretty good season. I had a lot of fun playing with those guys.
Question #2: What are some points of emphasis this off-season?rnAnswer: A for sure point of emphasis I want to focus on this off-season is my passing and getting my teammates involved because I felt I could’ve done way more of that this season. Also I’m trying to hit the weight room hard and get stronger this off-season.
Question #3: What do you want to accomplish next season?rnAnswer: Next season especially with the team we have coming in, our goal is to make a run for that blue trophy.
Question #1: What was your thoughts on how the season went this past year? rnAnswer: I think the season was good for us, we had a pretty solid season, we had a goal and we fell short of it but we learned from what happened in The Pit of the second round. For me personally, I think what gave me confidence to be the player I was last season was my teammates and my coaches always had my back like I always had theirs.
Question #2: What are some points of emphasis this off-season?rnAnswer: What I’m working on this off-season is to be a better on-ball defender and also I’m working on my shot from all three levels.
Question #3: What do you want to accomplish next season?rnAnswer: The goal for next year is the same as we had last year, and that is to be the 23-24 State Champs.
