Bellingham Bayhawks
Bellingham had a middle of the road season last with some disappointing games. Grayson Stone is a name that will need to be replaced but the Bayhawks have a couple solid players returning. The main 2 options will be soon to-be seniors Ian O’Roraty and Wyatt Stephan. Ian has great length and was relied on quite a bit last season. He handles the ball well and finds his spots nicely. He could work on his aggressiveness as well as his facilitating but I expect him to showcase these next season. Wyatt is a gritty guard who can step out and hit the deep shot smoothly. He attacks with his right hand nicely and runs the floor well. It will be interesting to see which new players will step up.
Squalicum Storm
Squalicum had a very solid core last year but didn’t quite live up to expectations on the court. The Storm will be losing Ashton Engelhart Ashton Engelhart 6'1" | SG Squalicum | 2023 WA , Kyle Heaton Kyle Heaton 6'3" | PF Squalicum | 2023 WA , Dylan Jacobs, Xander Sledge, and other key players. ’25 graduates Fabian Singh, Jaxon Hoefer, and Marcus Nixon will all have their roles increased and should see significant minutes on the court. Hoefer plays very well off 2 feet down in the paint. Singh is a solid three point shooter who plays solid defense. Nixon is one of the most athletic players in the entire conference and runs the court well. ’24 big man Peter Albert will be a main option on offense as he has a big frame and is tough to matchup against. The Storm seem to be shifting to a rebuilding stage.
