Prep Hoops Missouri introduces you to some new names of young standout forwards from the Class of 2025 and 2026 who have been putting in work during the grassroots season. We also have a couple of young prospects included who are under the radar, but will emerge.

Jake Miller (816 Hoops-Shamet 15U): A 6'6" 2026 power forward from Penny who plays with a lot of bounce as well as an extremely high motor. He loves the physical game as he posts up well in the low post and he can score on drop steps and jump hooks. He draws fouls and he makes his free throws. He can also explode at the rim and dunk on somebody's head. He can also attack from the high post and score on a one-dribble move.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='1790002' first='John' last='Fleeman'] (Missouri Hawks 15U): The 6'10" 2026 center from Kingsville isn't exactly a new name as we have him ranked No. 14 in the first 2026 rankings, but we included him anyway because he's a hidden gem hidden away at a Class 1 school and people need to know about him. He's very skilled young big with soft hands and nice shooting touch in the paint and out to 15 to 17 feet. He is also an excellent passer that you can run offense through with his high basketball IQ.

******

Greg Robinson (34Hoops 16U): A 6'7" 2025 forward from Hillsboro who is an excellent athlete who plays with a high motor at both ends of the floor. He's an active rebounder who gets out of his area to grab boards. He has a nice touch around the basket and he can also step out and knock down 3-pointers off the catch. He also runs the court hard and converts in the transition game.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='2111087' first='Sam' last='Pendergrass'] (Missouri Hawks 15U): A 6'6" 2026 power forward from Grain Valley who has a big body and uses it well inside with his meat-and-potatoes game. He is strong on the post ups and he gets deep position for the easy drop steps. He also does a good job of passing out of the double teams to the open shooters.

*******

[player_tooltip player_id='1598832' first='Grady' last='Payton'] (Missouri Flight 15U): A 6'6" small forward from Jefferson City who is very comfortable on the wing with his ability to knock down 3-pointers from downtown. He has impressive size and skill level to go along with his smooth shooting stroke from deep. His handles are good and he can create a shot off the dribble and he can also go inside and shoot over smaller defenders with a nice turnaround jumper in the lane.

*******

Hunter Harlan (816 Hoops-Shamet 16U): A 6'7" 2025 forward from North Kansas City who is an impressive rebounder who stays active and gets out of his area. When he enters the game, the action really picks up as he played with a lot of energy, and he gets a lot done with his size. He finishes strong inside with post moves and got himself to the free throw line. He passes the ball well and never stops working in the lane.

*******

[player_tooltip player_id='2111105' first='Jaishon' last='White'] (KC Spurs): A 6'4" 2026 forward from Chillicothe who has a strong build and plays with a physical presence around the basket. He uses his low body strength to carve out his real estate in the lane for post touches and offensive rebounds. When he establishes his position, he is hard to move. The young lefty has a soft touch off the glass and he can also step out and hit the elbow jumper.
