Andrew Groos Andrew Groos 6'4" | PF Osage | 2025 State MO (Mid Mo Elite): A 6’4″ 2025 forward who averaged 15 points a game and was the top rebounder for his team as it finished with a 3-1 record over the weekend. He was difficult to handle in the post with his combination of strength and athleticism. He was making was making tough catches in traffic and jumping over defenders for buckets. He also had a nice runner in the lane as he could drive from the high post very effectively. He was consistently around the basket picking up offensive rebounds for putbacks.

Brayden Klahn (GABL Future 16U): An active 6’4″2025 forward who averaged 18 points a game to lead his team to a 3-1 record over the weekend. He is an excellent athlete who plays with a big motor at both ends of the court. He gets up high when he rebounds and he can also lead the fast break. He was tough on the drive and he could finish well with contact and get himself to the free throw line. He could also knock down the open 3-pointer.

Anthony Nettles (Prolific Elite Black): The 6’0″ 2025 point guard was one of the most impressive two-way guards in the event. He averaged nearly 20 points a game in leading his team to a 3-1 record over the weekend. He was tough to contain in the transition game with his end to end speed. In the half court offense, he could penetrate for layups and short jumpers or drop off dimes to open teammates. He could also hit the 3-pointer against a zone defense. He was also a big factor on defense with his quick hands and ability to create disruption in his team’s full court pressure defense.

Carson Schertz (Missouri 66ers): A 6’3″ 2026 combo guard was playing up a year, but he was one of top young prospects that I watched in the 16U division. He already has an advanced feel for the game with his court vision and decision making when he plays point guard. He can see over the defense well and he can make pinpoint passes with both hands while on the move. He is also a three-level scorer who can create off the dribble and get into the lane and use his size to score over defenders. He can also hit the 3-pointer off the step back or another creative escape move.

Lincoln Schwarz (AEF Academy-1): A 6’4″ 2025 power forward who averaged a team-high 12 points a game in leading a well-balanced team to a 4-0 record over the weekend. He is a physical post player who was very effective with his meat-and-potatoes game. He was like a bull in a china shop as he did a nice job of creating space inside for easy post-up buckets and offensive rebounds and putbacks. He is a tireless worker who plays with maximum effort.
