There are now 16 Division I commitments in the class with at least one, maybe two more still to come. The Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College levels are full of commitments from the Hoosier state as well. However, there are still prospects remaining on the board for coaches at all levels to recruiting depending on what they need to try and round out their respective classes. Let’s dive into highlighting five unsigned senior wings that are still looking for college homes.
White is an excellent catch-and-shoot threat from beyond the arc, has good size on the wing, and displays a high basketball IQ on both ends of the floor. Like I tell college coaches a lot, kids from Carmel are typically more ready than other freshmen because of how they practice and the level of competition they play throughout their careers. Small college programs should be all over this prospect as they wrap up their Class of 2023 recruiting efforts. 6’4″-6’5″ shooters from big time high schools will never be out of style.
Brooks is a talented slasher and driver for college programs to get involved with here as the high school season comes to a close. At 6’5″ with excellent length this wing has the requisite size for the college level. He rebounds at a high level, is really effective as a mid-range scorer, and can play/guard multiple positions on the perimeter. Brooks finished his career averaging 19.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game for New Haven this season. Definitely a scholarship worthy prospect. Played this spring with George Hill All Indy Unsigned.

Previously committed to Saint Mary of the Woods, Floyd reopened his recruitment after a coaching change at the school. The athletic 6’4″ wing is an excellent rebounder from the perimeter, is really good in transition, and finishes up above the rim at the end of his drives. He averaged 14.9 points and 10.0 rebounds per game while helping lead Gary 21st Century to a Class 2A Semi-State appearance. Floyd definitely can be a nice late pickup for someone at the small college level.
Highlights
There are few prospects left on the board in Indiana with more athleticism and better physical tools than this 6’4″ wing from Culver Academy. He has still been playing this spring most recently with Denard Bros Pro 17u. Fayemi has shown off his ability as a secondary playmaker on the perimeter with his ball handling and overall playmaking skills. One of the more versatile defenders in the state as well. He is a potential scholarship-level prospect for someone at the next level looking for a high-upside two-way wing.
Hackett has put together some excellent weekends while continuing to play AAU this spring for Kyle Guy Elite Black 2024. The 6’5″ wing/forward has very good physical tools and is a strong right hand driver and slasher. He has the ability to run on the wings in transition, he rebounds his position very well, and scores it around the basket. Could be a really nice pickup for a DIII/NAIA.
