Brad Beal Elite 15U Shows Out in 8AM Game
First game of the day was never close as Brad Beal Elite 15U 77-38 over EG10. Overall they were the most impressive group we saw throughout the weekend lead by their 1-2 punch of 5-stars in 2026 JJ Andrews and 2027 Jaylan Mitchell. Andrews notched 13 points in this one. Lefty power guard that loves to slash and takes great angles to the cup. Mitchell had 18 points displaying his advanced offensive skill set at 6’8” being able to shoot it from three, put it on the deck, post up, and push off steals. John Burroughs (MO) center Sheek Pearson displayed his immense upside netting 13 points on put backs and dunks. TySeanDre Edwards is a high-motor wing that had 10 points while point guard Kain McCaskill chipped in 10 points as well.
All H.E.A.R.T. 16U Backcourt Leads to Victory over Brad Beal Elite 16U
We headed over to the other gym at Fishers junior high to catch the only defeat for BBE on the weekend as All H.E.A.R.T. from Ohio scored a 79-75 win at the 16U level. It looked like Brad Beal was going to once again make their second half push they did in both games Saturday to rout opponents, but All H.E.A.R.T. wouldn’t have any of it as they took the punch and answered back with a huge run of their own to win the game. It was their backcourt that led the way as 2025 shooting guard Tommy Clark was lights out from three draining seven of them in the victory recording 26 points. Plus athlete with that kind of shot expect the Ohio product to get college looks in the near future! Athens McGillis is his backcourt mate. The 2026 point guard is playing up more than holding his own. Creative passer with flair that gets others involved along with a soft touch finishing package and plus jumper from two and three. He also had 26 points.
For BBE their standout in this game was Vashon point guard Trey Williams who knocked in threes at a high clip for 18 points. Elijah Clinton continued his strong weekend as the Louisville product is an athletic slasher with a stellar mid-range game.
OPS 15U Plays BBE Close But Falls 56-52
This one went down to the wire as Brad Beal Elite won 56-52 against OPS at the 15U level. JJ Andrews had 12 points, Jaylan Mitchell chipped in 9 points, and TySeandre Edwards had 9 points in the win.
OPS got a big outing from Tim Jones Jr. The athletic two guard excelled scoring in transition with spinning finishes going for 12 points. Brody Fisher is a floor spacing four man that hit multiple threes en route to 10 points.
Reps317 Win on Out of Bounds Play in Indiana Clash
Fun battle here as Reps317 17u won a close game 70-68 over Pocket City. It came down to the wire as Seth Laravia scored on a nice out of bounds play to give them the win. Caleb Wise was outstanding for the Indiana squad. The lefty two guard drained six from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points. Coryell Spears had a big first half notching 10 points while sharp shooter Logan Karnes drained three triples for 9 points.
Point guard Chris Glover once again stood out for Pocket City. The strong bodied lead guard plays with physicality scoring in the paint and dishing the rock for 13 points. Inside it was all about Malachi McNair as the 2024 6’7” wide bodied post went to work for put backs in bunches scoring 17 points.
Brad Beal Elite 16U Bounces Back With Dominant Finale
The last game we caught was Brad Beal Elite 16U’s bounce back 74-49 victory over Indiana Ambition. EJ Walker was excellent from the jump. The skilled face up four from Kentucky is a four-star recruit that can score out of the post with quick moves, run the floor, and stretch with his shooting. Went for 12 points. Chaminade (MO) 2025 center Ben Winker has great size and touch around the basket. Rebounds well in and out of his area as he had 10 points. Vianney (MO) sharp shooter Luke Walsh had 17 points including five triples.
