SubscribeThe weekend at Triton Central High school brought a ton of talent to the Indianapolis area. Below we are highlighting the All-Glue team. These players flied under the radar and did all of the small things for their teams that contributed to winning. These players below brought extreme value to their teams last weekend.

Robinson had a very solid weekend. He filled in and played every guard spot that was needed, never got sped up and seemed to make all of the right plays at the right time. At times, Team Robinson would play too fast and tuhe ball over, however Keaton was the player that would go get the ball and get the team under control. Defensively, he seemed to be in all of the correct spots off the ball which allowed him to get some quality steals.

Haas was the utility guy for Big Energy that really got a bunch of his teammates easy shots. Has pretty good speed and quickness that allowed him to beat his defenders off the dribble. He was really good at dumping the ball off to his big men when the defense collapsed. You could tell he didn’t care about scoring or who got the points. He was about winning. Haas is a guy that you need on your team.

Jackson was consistent all weekend. Played all 3 guard spots, made open shots when he had them, finished around the rim well and also was solid defensively. This was my second time seeing Jackson and every time I walk away I am impressed with how much he impacts winning. Most of what he does doesn’t show up in the box score. He is a player that is hard to keep off the floor.

Colton was highly efficient during the event making runners, finishing at the rim and also making timely shots from 3pt range. He didn’t have the ball in his hand a ton, however he made the most of his touches and scored at a high percentage. I loved how he just put his head down, did his job and helped the Travelers have a very good weekend. Winner.

Walker had a really good weekend. It seemed like he was involved in just about every play for Mike Glennon on both sides of the ball. He is fearless and isn’t afraid to take the big shot or grab the tough rebound/loose ball. Although he had the ball in his hands alot, he rarely seemed to screw up. He controlled the tempo of the games he was in and just kept his team together. He was the heart and soul this weekend for his team.

Lockett is a big time guard that has big time quickness/speed. He was great driving the basketball and also playing in transition. He was fearless on drives as he loved when he drew contact to score. Defensively, he has instincts you can’t teach. It was involved in just about every steal for his team all weekend. The way he impacted the game from an energy standpoint is why I put him on this list. The tempo was elevated when he was on the floor.

Cartwright is a tough, hard nosed guard that is simply just a winner. He did a great job getting to the paint and finding open teammates. He has a great feel and IQ for the game as it seemed like he saw the game one play ahead. Although he was a great passer, I would have liked for him to look for his shot more at times because he can really shoot it. Cartwright was a big reason for Mac Boys having such a successful weekend.

Thomson played up an age this past weekend as he is really a 2028. He did more than just hold his own as he held the paint down for Next Level getting tough rebounds, defending other teams big’s and also creating space for his teammates to drive. He did the dirty work for them collecting all of the lose balls and getting deflections. Thomson is another player where what he does doesn’t necessarily show up on the stat sheet, however if he isn’t on the floor you can tell. He is simply a winner.
