The Havoc in the Heartland featured some excellent teams from around the Midwest and beyond with plenty of individual talent as well. As we begin to recap all of the action from the weekend let’s start by taking a look at some of the standout prospects from each age division. Here are your 15u All-Tournament Teams from the Havoc in the Heartland.
First Team
JaShawn Andrews
JaShawn Andrews
This 6’5″ lefty lives above the rim on both ends of the floor. Andrews had some highlight reel dunks and blocks while dominating the competition with his Brad Beal Elite 2026 EYBL team at the Havoc in the Heartland. He has the ability to make catch-and-shoot three-pointers too which makes him an ideal 3-and-D candidate down the road.
Albert Gooden III
Albert Gooden III
Gooden III is a physical guard that is excellent at getting to the basket off of the bounce. He plays through contact, can bully defenders around the rim, and routinely got into the paint. His ability to score was a big part of Team F.E.E.D. competing very well in a loaded Pool A. One of the more impressive Class of 2026 prospects in the state of Indiana.
Cam Gunsell
Cam Gunsell
Gunsell was a consistent interior presence for Hardwood Midwest 2026 as they dominated the competition on the way to a perfect 4-0 weekend. He is has a versatile inside-outside game with the ability to play out on the perimeter while possessing the size to score inside. The 6’3″ wing scored 19 points in their final game on Sunday in a blowout win against Ronnie Fields Elite Plus 2026 Gold.
Jaylan Mitchell
Jaylan Mitchell
The best prospect at the Havoc in the Heartland has yet to even play a single high school basketball game. Playing up a year with Brad Beal Elite 2026 EYBL, Mitchell is a potential 5-star recruit in the Class of 2027 who is expected to attend Evansville Reitz High School. He is one of the most physically impressive prospects at his age that I’ve seen in decades. Meanwhile, his skill level is there as well with excellent ball-handling, passing, and interior scoring ability.
Kentucky Future Elite 2026 went 4-0 on the weekend at the Havoc in the Heartland. Their dynamic 5’10” point guard was a big part of that success consistently leading the team in scoring and showcasing excellent overall playmaking ability. Spillman was one of the better guards in his class at the event. Ranked as a Top 50 prospect in Kentucky’s Class of 2026.
